I have dizziness, pain in my chest. Any suggestions of what could be going on?

This all started a bit over 2 years ago when I blacked out for a second or so and my car went off the road. I've had and EEG - negative. Worn a holter -negative. Had 2 echo's - nothing but MV prolapse. I take Rx for HBP, it will get into the 180/130 range, meds will help for a while, then we change. Severe fatigue - sleep study - negative. About 6 wks. ago thought I was having a heart attack, was at work & they couldn't find my pulse, got pale, all but passed out in the floor, bad pain. The ER noted an abnormal EKG - it showed possible MI & that I have severe p. excavatum - I knew this! Said a chest x-ray showed my lungs were enlarged & heart seriously displaced to the left because of the PE. Blood work was ok, later went to the cardiologist & did the CTA last week - normal. I just learned from someone's answer (THANKS) that the CTA might not show everything. , and I think my GP who's done all the referrals is thinking this is in my head. I'M NOT CRAZY, PLEASE HELP!!!

CTA is not a reliable indicator of CADs , or any abnormality of of myocardium. It is advisable that you should undergo Thallium/Tc99 stress test. or an CT scan of your chest organs.
I will recommend that you consult a good cardiologist/surgeon for further evaluation of your case.
Take the matter seriously and discuss it out with your consultant.

Maybe you should take your meds regularly, and see your doctor to have them adjusted. Perhaps you have had a cardiovascular event in the past? Although your HTN can cause your ECG to be abnormal. Your CTA just indicates that your coronaries are in theroy "clear" from blockages. This does not mean that you are free from all types of heart disease. You need to see your doctor and have your meds adjusted, perhaps you need an echo of your heart?

I hope you are seeing a doctor and being cared for with these problems. Until you do see a doc and have a complete physical, there is no other way to find out what is going on with you.
