No, of course they are not. Why would you say that? Were you cruel at heart before you became a vegetarian? Mostly, people just are not aware of the cruelty involved in factory farming. I was almost 40 before I knew. I made the choice to become a vegetarian for a variety of reasons, including the suffering of the animals. I can assure you I am no demon and not cruel at heart of anywhere else. Dont be so judgemental!

No they are just brain dead cause they eat meat which is a dead thing. You've heard you are what you eat! So If one eats something dead do they not become dead? Veggies are living even after they are picked. When veggies are dead then it's spoiled! Some think there's more meat eaters on this planet than vegetarians.. it may appear that way in the well off places like Canada and the USA but many poor countries can't afford meat products so they are vegetarian because that's all they can afford! Even Meat eating country people when they help out poor countries they give out vegetarian food like porridge or oatmeal!

Well this is a loaded question. Of course they are not, however, many in ignorance are causing needless suffering. It is not about judging but striving to make the world a better place.
There was a time and a place when slavery was commonly accepted, even by the founding fathers of America. But time allows for people to see the errors of their and their ancestors ways. This does not mean we or they are evil. It only means there is something they have not been able to see yet.
On a spiritual note, I believe in time all souls will return to the love and truth of the light. We will all eventually come to a more compassionate understanding.

I don't think so. I think non-vegetarians
just suffer from a disconnect that does
not allow them to see how cruel and
serious killing to eat is. Also, the packaging
and marketing makes animal limbs, muscles
and organs almost unrecognizable. The fact
that there is always another pack of steak or
chicken breasts waiting in the meat section
nulls people to the finality of death. It's like
that video game character that always dies
and gets back up again.

No, just willfully ignorant of the American way of producing meat. If we all knew about the Chinese girls working 16 hour days in factories to make our crap from Walmart, would we still shop there? Why do we buy anything but fair trade food (if your coffee isn't fair trade then the farmer who grew it can't feed his own family)? The world is an ugly place for a lot of people. If everyone bought ethically, the world would be an amazing place for everyone.

Yes, they are demons and should be vanquished.
We vegetarians should go forth on a crusade and slay the demons!
Oh... right... we're vastly outnumbered. Well maybe save that thought for later.

I get where you are coming from! I have thought that many times myself!! I mean, how can you not when you see how cows, pigs, chickens and other animals suffer just to satisfy HUMANS' needs. Even though HUMANS DO NOT NEED animals to survive!!! But then again... most people don't really know how animal suffer (they just have a basic idea)... and a lot of people know but they choose to ignore it because, hey they're just animals! It all has to do with HUMANS thinking we are SUPERIOR to any other living thing on this earth... just because we have a better brain... yeah but if we only used to it to see REALITY!!!

I wouldn't say that, but for the people who still eat meat after learning about factory farming,I'll say they are lacking some compassion.
