I was just recently diagnosed with low blood pressure and they told me that I needed to increase my sodium intake because my body dosent retain water or the sodium needed for my body to function...any ideas on what food I should be eating or snacks? I really need some ideas...thanks!!!

You can look at food labels and see everything is full of sodium particularly canned goods. Gatorade has a ton of it and can help there too. Obviosuly you can drink salt water but that is yucky...so try the above mentioned and trust me you drink a lot of gatorade and don't sweat much you'll increase your sodium..but above all talk to your doctor before you take on the regime.

Yes, I used to have a co-worker that every time she ate something with a lot of salt, her feet would swell up. I don't remember what she called it. Maybe she was anemic? Anyway, yes, it was the sodium.

canned soup is high in sodium. Actually just about anything canned is high in sodium except fruit. Ham and bacon are high. And, salt everything you eat.

Have more salt in your diet, but dont go overboard as u would end up with High blood pressure.
