Blood pressure measurements are a guide to Dr's the most important information comes from your body. If you stand up quick and feel dizzy sit down and give it another go a couple of minutes later. If you are having any pains in your chest or arms don't wait for them to become overpowering. It may not be indigestion. Blood pressure is an individuals response to their environment, a 1500 meter runner can jog quickly at 70 hart beats a min. I am doing nothing at 80 - 90.

If you are a young healthy person the blood pressure of 106/57 is perfect.

Blood pressure varies. Generally the smaller the person you are the lower it is. eg. childrens. (less pressure needed as less body to pump it around)

Low blood pressure is fine as long as you are not symptomatic (dizzy on standing etc).

Roughly a systolic (the uppper one) of anything over 90 is fine. It can be lower at times but around 90 is fine.

If that is your usual blood pressure then that is normal. There is a big misconception that the normal blood pressure for all is 120/80 mmHg. That is not the case. Each and everyone of us have a different normal blood pressure. My blood pressure is the same as yours and that is normal for me. You have to worry when your BP is lower than your normal or a tad higher than your normal.

depends,
on what it takes to proficiently supply your organs, (including your brain) with oxygenated blood. yours actually sounds like a endurance athlete's BP.
your BP can drop for a few reasons, loss of fluid=dehydration, bleeding, ect. stimulation of the vagus nerve= bearing down to have a bowel movement, cold water on the face, restricted flow during exhalation, massage of the carotid sinus.
a systolic bp above 90, should be safe but watched, anything above that is fine...unless you have dizziness or unconscious episodes (other than sleep)
you sound healthy

Its not really the number that is the issue.
Its the effect of not getting oxygen to the brain
and other vital organs that's the kicker.

If you pass out or get dizzy ... you've got
a problem. That number will vary from person
to person.

Yours is fine. Anything under 80 in the systolic # is considered hypotensive in women.

if you are not dizzy while standing, passing out, or nauseaus, then your bp is probably fine. note your bp for 2 weeks to be sure. discuss the results with your doctor to confirm.
