This certainly is a trick question because there is no yes or no question because people that are meat eaters and people that are vegetarians eat meat. The difference between vegetarians and meat eaters is vegetarians may get their meat in different places. For example: There are other forms of meat which would be like Tofu and beans but they won't eat red meat. So to say it is a yes or no question is wrong. I think it is healthy to be either because as long as your body is getting the nutrients it deserves that is what matters.

Yes I'm answering again but an unequivocal yes to meat is not the answer.
The problem is our western culture is not well suited to being vegan. You can't go out out to a restaurant and get the amount of food that you need to obtain sufficient nutrients without ordering three or four serves of food. You have to work at it really hard - shopping at least twice per week, searching for variety and seeking out fresh produce - and then still having to take supplements because of the quality of what you've eaten.
The recommendations that are made as to what we ought to eat are based at least partly on what is culturally acceptable and not on what is good for us. At the other extreme being vegan simply because you don't wish to harm animals without fully investigating your nutritional requirements is irresponsible. You need to eat what suits you. Give your body three to six months to adjust to a particular diet to see if it is right for you.
Excluding, pork, game, meat, poultry, fruits of the sea, fish, eggs, dairy, yellow cheese, mushrooms or honey alone or any combination of these or all of these is your choice. Experiment, let your body talk to you and see what works.

Healthier to be a vegetarian.. I'm speaking from my own experience! Of course if I weren't eating properly such as not getting the right mix of fruits and veggies than I'd get just as sick as meat eaters who get sick. Sickness comes from poor eating habits whether you eat meat or be a vegetarian.
Also if your body is useto one way of eating and you change to a different way of eating you may feeling sorta out of balance during the change over still the change can be good!
It was for me! Becoming a vegetarian was the smartest thing I ever did for myself!

Vegetarian
Assuming both meat eater and vegetarian are eating a healthy diet, the vegetarian will be healthier in most cases.

It is healthier to be a veggie/vegan. Veggies tend to be more health conscious to begin with. Many products that contain animal parts have so many preservatives and hormones and just plain old unneccessary junk that it just is unhealthy. I think that you could eat meat and be healthy, but it is far less likely.

vegan or vegetarian because of the saturated fat in meat and milk and the antibiotics and steroids that are in meat and milk. plus milk has pus in it. and a diet that is so close to nature can only be good for you (talking about veg*n). but then again my opinion is completely biased.

White meat with lots of vegetables, fruits and nuts. Red meat is never good and causes alot of problems like cancer and heart/cardiovascular problems.

The best data to date says that it depends on your body chemistry. This is derived from your ancestry. For instance most asians can process higher glycemic foods like white rice, while the same in a european will create an insulin spike.

My opinion, meat. Of course eating many vegetables is healthy, but i like to put alot of chicken and fish in my diet. (It helps me build muscle so i can be fit and stronger than someone who's vegetarian.)
