Yes. All genital warts are caused by HPV. There are several different kinds of HPV that can cause genital warts, including kinds 6, 11, 30, 42, 43, 44, 45, 51, 52, and 54. Type 6 and 11 are responsible for 90% of genital wart cases.

Genital warts is a strain of the HPV virus. There are a few strains that have no signs, they are detected by a pap test.
