i'm a vegan.... many of the time. you notice, my mom and father stay in a various state than my husband, daughter, and that i do. My mom has been encouraging me to be a vegetarian by way of fact it does get a touch tedious looking eating places i will devour at, and nutrition she will cook dinner and serve that i will devour. many of the time I finally end up eating something thoroughly diverse than all of us else. nicely, i desperate to be a vegetarian on each and every occasion i'm at my mom and father' homestead, this is merely some cases a year. perhaps i'm a sellout, yet oh nicely. Christmas replaced into amazing this year. i honestly have been given to devour Christmas cookies... and cheesecake! yet lower back on your question. She isn't a vegetarian. in actuality, eating rooster is worse than eating pork interior the eyes of maximum vegetarians.

A hypocrite if they call themselves a vegetarian.
They're just a meat eater who doesn't eat red meat, there's no special term for them other than one of those awkward portmanteau terms that people have mentioned above.
I see Foxy's still referring to his 'medical journal' - shame you're still getting it wrong Foxy.
"A vegetarian is someone living on a diet of grains, pulses, nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruits with or without the use of dairy products and eggs. A vegetarian does not eat any meat, poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea, or slaughter by-products." That's a quote from the Vegetarian Society website.
By the way, they mention three types of vegetarian - lacto-ovo (eats dairy & eggs), lacto (eats dairy) & vegan (eats no animal products). There's no mention of semi-, demi- or any other type of vegetarian.

I know people who eat fish and seafood but no other meat call themselves 'pescotarians'.White meat also includes chicken and turkey and so on though so that name wouldn't apply-I'm sure someone has made up a name for it but I have no idea what it is.
They certainly aren't any kind of vegetarian.
I call them hypocrites or liars.
Or if I'm feeling VERY polite I call them 'selective omnivores.'

if they eat white meat, they are still an omnivore. A pescatarian eats fish, but no meat. A vegetarian eats no meat or fish or seafood. A vegan consumes nothing that comes from an animal at all. Someone who just eats white meat is a meat reducer, but no form of vegetarian

I would call them time-wasters if they were doing it on ethical grounds. Meat is murder and that's that. If you kill any being for no reason, it is murder. It's all or nothing. There's a saying that goes : If you're not vegan, you're not vegetarian. (think about it) GO VEGAN !

As you said, this person is not a vegetarian. Someone who excludes red meat, but eats both chicken and fish is called a pesce-pollotarian. The prefix "pesce" means fish. The prefix "pollo" means chicken. There are different variations of excluding certain types of meat while eating other kinds of meat, but none of them should be considered vegetarian.

Such a person is an omnivore.

They would still be called a vegetarian. They just wouldn't be called a vegan.
My medical journal describes a vegetarian as a person who eats mostly fruits and vegetables. You can still eat meat, just don't eat too much. I recently converted to vegetarianism and I feel healthier than I have ever felt in my life. Good luck to you.
