I eat chicken occasionally, very rarely. I eat eggs too. I don't do any beef, seafood, pork etc... What kind of vegetarian am I , if I am ? I have been this way for 17 years.

Whoever said I was picky, very true,.lol. I can't help but think of the animal when eating ! Somehow, if there is a little chicken in my salad though, I can eat it, but I can't eat it on the bone or see it being cooked!

Personally I beleive that you are only a vegetarian if you NEVER eat pork, beef, chicken fish, ect... However that is only my personal way of looking at it. The REAL deffinition of what you re is a pollo-ovo-lacto-vegetarian. By deffinition you can still be considered a vegetarian if you eat fish or chicken, but almost all vegetarians ((including my self)) think otherwise.

No, you are not a vegetarian.
A vegetarian does not eat beef, poultry, fish, or animal by-products such as gelatin. A semi- vegetarian, though does not eat red meat, but sometimes poultry and fish. But the transition shouldn't be too difficult.
There are many meat substitutes that can be found at Trader Joe's or other natural food stores.
Good luck!

Sorry, but your not. Vegetarians refrain from eating any meat, including chicken, seafood, pork. Practically anything that moves and is alive you can't eat. Your pretty much like me, eating the best of both worlds but definitely not a vegetarian.

Then for 17 years you have been exactly what you were for the rest of your life - not a vegetarian of any description.
Stop eating the chicken and bingo, you'll be veggie.

No, you're not a vegetarian. If you never eat chicken, you'd be a lactovegetarian, and a lacto-ovo-vegetarian if you eat milk products.

I was calling myself a quasi vegatarian b/c I was eating meat about once a week.. But now I'm totally off and only eat fish every blue moon.. Some die hards will tell you you're not if you "eat any sort of flesh" but I don't know.. I don't see any rules set in stone.. Anyhow, when I started the transition, I was checking out this online book and that sucka that wrote it helped me out a lot about understanding it.. You can check it out!! SUP! okay I'm hyper... Which by the way, when i converted I noticed I had a lot more energy!! =)

you are basically a veggitarian. you sound like me and my best friend. except for the fact that we dont eat chicken. it is perfectly normal to eat eggs and be a veggitarian. if you dont eat eggs than you are a vegan.
