Most vegans are vegans because that don't wish to harm animals in any way whatsoever so they don't have honey either.
So dairy is pretty weird when you think about it. A nonhuman mammal has an offspring. People take that offspring away from the mother and milk the mother of its milk for as long as they can while they give powdered milk to the offspring. Having human milk now that makes sense but having another animals milk makes no sense. And isn't milk for babies anyway.
It is possible to be a vegan simply for your health and be totally revolted by milk especially after you've met a few dairy farmers who wouldn't drink milk, seen how unhealthy people look after eating lots of cheese laden fast food and noticed that dairy is restricted for some diseases.
Honey from a nutritional point of view is too high in sugar.

You got it.
I am a vegan because of health, because I don't want an animal to suffer for me, and cause I really never liked meat in the first place.
About the treatment of the animals... um I don't know what half of these people are talking about. Because I personally have never said that I don't drink milk because of the organisms and enzymes in it. I know that I probably step on ants all the time, and swallow little microscopic organisms just living everyday. So I would not say that I don't drink milk because I don't want to kill little organisms(sometimes you can't help that)... The reason is because the cows that are used in the making of the milk are horribly mistreated and abused... and I just don't want to be a part of it. Same goes for eggs.

Personally, I try to eat/drink the least amount of cheese and milk as possible. I'm currently on the hunt for some good organic dairy products. Anyway, cows are often mistreated, over milk, and injected with hormones so that they will produce more milk. I would have no problem eating/drinking dairy products if I knew that the animals were not mistreated. However, everyone has their different reasons.

I'm vegan and don't eat dairy because the dairy cows are the most poorly treated animals in the food industry. Their worse off than the cows who become your steak.

You guessed right, I'm vegan because because I don't like how animals are treated nowdays. I will only drink soy milk. I will not eat any type of egg, because of the hormones they inject into chickens. But being vegan doesn't mean we have to eat food that doesn't taste any good. For example, I still eat food like pizza, only I make it myself and put vegan cheese on it. And top it off with all kinds of veggies.
I can still eat at places like Chipotle. So being vegan doesn't mean that you have to eat foods that not many people like.

vegans dont eat diary because there is no enzymes because of disinfecting called homogeion process...enzymes help you break down calcium buildup that produces age spots when you get older or in the sun all day...and cow dairy causes mucus in your lungs especially those with asthma so if your friend has asthma and coughs up mucus tell him to stop drinking whole milk and drink soy and rice milk ....

There are a lot of different reasons. Dairy makes me feel sluggish. Check out this website if you're interested in some health info and criticisms of dairy.

Usually its due to the belief that dairy is bad for you (it is) and that dairy cows are treated cruelly (they are).
You don't need to drink cow's milk at all, but it is the basis of many foods, sauces and desserts so its hard to avoid.

The basic concept as I understand is that a vegan doesn't want to use other animals, especially against their will.
