Judges 1:19
"The Lord was with the men of Judah. They took possession of the hill country, but they were unable to drive the people from the plains, because they had iron chariots."

I thought EVERYTHING was possible when god is with you, but I suppose that limits itself if the other has iron chariots.

I read the chapter, but I'm not sure either. Usually God does not interfer on free will, and if they were doing something they were not supposed to like having the iron chariots in the first place, maybe God would have intervened.

Before the Israelites even entered the Promised Land, God told them that they would be unable to drive the current resides (the Canaanites) out of the land within the first few generations. Because there were not enough Israelites to occupy the entire land, if the Canaanites were totally removed, the land would be overrun with wild beast.

This is a fulfillment of that prophecy, and done for the reason that God stated.

Showing how Israel had “not listened” to God, the Scriptures relate that the tribe of Judah neglected to dispossess the inhabitants of a certain area of southern Canaan “because [the inhabitants] had war chariots with iron scythes.”

Since the tribe of Judah disobeyed Jehovah's command to completely expell the Canaanites from the land, he only gave them a partial victory. It had nothing to do with Jehovah's power and ability to help his people.

Yes He was with them, but the people of Judah werent always with God. When you realise GOD's will at the end of the journey you'll realise why you werent allowed to go down a certain path that YOU wanted to take at the start.

Hope that explains it for you.

First of all God is not a man, he is a spirit, & when people has drawn so far away from God, then God will just step aside & let the enemy take control Until a certain time.

God used to protect the man of Judah but if happened that they stop listening to God's way and preferred to do what they feel was good.

So God stop protecting them; even they thought that He would continue to do so.

I have explained this before, Jesus Christ was not me.

He convinced the crowd but not the armed services, given the fact that trees produce oxygen global warming can almost be placed entirely at Jesus' door, the sad reality is that the tree he was nailed to did more good for humanity before it was killed for him to be nailed to.

As for book one, Moses should have been stoned to death as an infant floating in the reeds 'thou shall not kill' else how are you going to eat or build shelter for your family to live?

Think about it.
