First of all you have to KNOW what the Word of God says about it, and then you should TAKE the Word of God and be ready to back it up with Scripture. Be prepared for battle with the Whole Armor Of God. Do not stand there and say, wait a minute let me look it up. KNOW what you are Witnessing about BEFORE you do.

I think it depends on their beliefs and on if they are asking about it.
For instance, if someone is a christian and you are trying to tell them about the sabbath, then use the scriptures.
If they are a non-believer and are asking about it, tell them in general terms what it's all about and show scripture if they ask.
If you're trying to force it on someone, then my advice is: Don't.
