Christ said there would be many who claim to speak in his name. Regardless of who you think it is, a large part of Christian Churches come under this. How do you decide who is and who isn't?

One way is to review what the churches are doing, overall, and how that reflects on Christian Values. Have they allowed immorality to creep into the church? Do they involve themselves more in the politics of the world, than in the teaching of God's Word? Do they keep their congregations clean and above reproach? Do they teach all their members, and not just the select few, the Bible as a whole, as well as how to preach and teach it?

Looking at all the factors, and not just select few, which churches meet all the requirements of Christ?

The Jehovah's Witnesses aren't Protestants. They are Christians.
The Jehovah's Witnesses and the Mormons have no connection.

The Jehovah's Witnesses:
*Base their beliefs only on the Bible (not on traditions like other religions) which is the inspired Word of God.

"All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work." -- 2 Thimothy 3:16, 17

*Believe that God will soon destroy the human governments; they will be replaced by God's Kingdom in a new system in which people will live on an earthly paradise.

"Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth." -- Matthew 6:10

"And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." -- Revelation 21:4

*Believe that the only ones who have a heavenly hope are the 144,000 (the anointed) who will rule as kings with Jesus.

"And I saw, and, look! the Lamb standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads... And they are singing as if a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to master that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth." -- Revelation 14:1, 3

*Believe that there will be a resurrection.

"For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten." -- Ecclesiastes 9:5

"I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." -- Acts 24:15

*Believe that only God has the right to judge/to condemn.

Jehovah is the great “Judge of all the earth.” (Genesis 18:25) As the Supreme God of the universe, he has the unqualified right to judge his creatures. This is at once a fear-inspiring and a comforting thought.

“Jehovah your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the God great, mighty and fear-inspiring, who treats none with partiality nor accepts a bribe, executing judgment for the fatherless boy and the widow and loving the alien resident so as to give him bread and a mantle.” -- Deuteronomy 10:17, 18.

Speaking as a Jehovah's Witness.
There are too many reasons to name on here

Let's just look at a few -

Is God pleased if there are idols in a place of worship?
Exodus 20:3,4 - No
Is he happy if members of a religion will fight in wars?
Micah 4:3 - No
Should religions meddle with politics?
John 18:36 - No
Jesus wouldn't have anything to do with the politics of the world and yet who do we see at the forefront of major political discussion? Prominent religious members.

Is God pleased with ones that celebrate pagan festivals such as Easter or Christmas?
2 Corinthians 6:14,17 - No
Should there be a clergy class elevated above the common people?
Matthew 23:8 - No

These are just a few of the reasons that prove that such religions are not acceptable to our Creator.
He has expectations & these just don't bother to measure their actions by his word.
Titus 1:16 - They publickly declare they know God but in reality they disown him by their works

We are urged to avoid these unchristian practices if we do not want to displease our Creator & suffer the consequences.
Revelation 18:4

I will let Mormon's explain their beliefs. We Witnesses simply study the Bible and share what it teaches. The Bible is rather clear, on most, of the requirements for serving Jehovah. Those who do not do so, are not in a favored position. This is the closest to condemning. As for whom Jehovah condemns or saves, this is HIS decision.

#1. Jehovah's Witnesses are Not Protestants.

#2. Jehovah's Witnesses let God speak for Himself, through his Word. We don't condemn anyone. God's Word, however, does. Do you not think that the Creator has the right to judge his creation...? Especially after many warnings & pleas for people to turn to him in order to merit his protection?

Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons are not connected in any way. Jehovah's Witnesses have the same thing to say about Mormons as about anybody else. They "would like to show them Bible truth."

Everybody should be studying their Bibles all the time! These are difficult days.

Sadly, this so-called "question" seems intent on misrepresenting Jehovah's Witnesses. Jehovah's Witnesses preach a message of "good news", and leave all judging for Jehovah and Jesus to perform "on the last day".

(Acts 10:36,42) Declare to them the good news of peace through Jesus Christ: this One is Lord of all others. ...this is the One decreed by God to be judge of the living and the dead

(John 11:23-25) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” 24 Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life.

(John 12:48-49) The word that I [Jesus] have spoken is what will judge [a person] in the last day; 49 because I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment

(John 8:16) if I do judge, my judgment is truthful, because I am not alone, but the Father who sent me is with me

(Matthew 12:36) They will render an account concerning it on Judgment Day

(John 5:22,27-30) [The Father] has committed all the judging to the Son... 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because Son of man he is. 28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out... I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

(Acts 17:30-31) God has overlooked the times of such ignorance, yet now he is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. 31 Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man [Jesus] whom he has appointed

In addition, Jehovah's Witnesses are quite famous for teaching that "hell" does not exist as Christendom has taught it; God has *NOT* arranged for any such place of fiery torment for sinners in some netherworld. The original Hebrew and Greek words most commonly translated as "hell" actually refer to the common grave of mankind; the Scriptures point forward to a time after Armageddon when humans will live forever and death and "hell" are themselves destroyed.

(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all

(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]

(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire

NO ONE can JUDGE anyone as that is NOT their task. ONLY GOD is the JUDGE, JUROR, and EXECUTIONER of someone. However there IS Spiritual Discernment. ANYONE who goes against Christ, and does not accept the Salvation that is offered to them by His Shed Blood IS Condemned already. This is NOT my thoughts, this is WHAT HE has said.
