No one has the right to force anyone to do so.

Many people complain that they were forced to convert form one religion to another, but wake up God gave all of us the right to choose. So, if someone chose to change , he should not tell that he was forced.

But it's nice to have people preaching door to door, talking about Bible and promise there's in the Bible for us. We only hear bad news on t.v., radio and newspaper.

Your word "right" is asking for a subjective value judgment. No matter what the people here think, this has always been Islam's primary recruitment method, sword in hand of course. Christians have also liked it throughout history. Why? It works. Perhaps you did not mean to refer to the sword in hand approach. Perhaps you only meant to refer to the religious version of the precursor to the disgusting phenomenon known as spam.

You cannot convert someone by knocking on their door especially if like you they do not want to convert. you can only truly be converted by your own choice not by someone elses! If someone does knock on your door, you have the ability to say you are not interested. simple as that.. No-one can make you do anything you don't want to do!

its completely unjustified, selfish and dogmatic.
I am a hindu. Lord Krishna says a beautiful thing in the scripture: No man can be benefitted by following others relegion. One must follow the relegion he or she was born in( because God intended him to thats why he was born in that relegion.) Even if you think that the others relegion is superior, you should follow your own. Only the natural relegion of the man will benefit him. following others relegion will prove fruitless.

The law allows free passage to your front door as long as people aren't committing any criminal offences like loitering or casing your joint.

I don't know if it's possible for somebody else to convert you. You have to convert yourself, I think.

It is inappropriate, however a solution i came up with. Answer the door in your underware holding a sex toy of somekind and say,"Are you the boys from the agency? Love the costumes!" Its great fun, and yes I have actually done this. Nothing better than seeing a few lil mormon boys stammering.
