There will be a new heaven and a new earth. This is after Jesus returns to deal with evil men.

What about Isaiah 5? and 3:5-6? When do these land issues get settled? I think that judgement periods are going on all the time. If you have land or somewhere to live, just be happy with that and keep on encouraging people. What do you think of what's happening to the mother of the child Angelina Jolie has adopted? Why is she being criticised in the media? Why are her parents allowed to say that she goes "missing"? Is there such a thing as a non-corrupt police force that would always investigate strange disappearances? If you believe that, keep on watching the TV soaps and cop dramas. Or else compare Isaiah 3:1-3. The good ones might get taken out of action whenever there's something big on. Like homosexuality running rife. Homosexuality ruins agricultural land, or else it ruins good workers. People develop psychoses etc. Maybe Psalms 37 has a real life fulfillment right now.

I am guessing you are using a paraphrase version like the NIV because those words aren't in a literal version. It would halp if you gave the verse references. To begin with heaven and earth are different places, and the meek (or the righteous as a literal translation says) posses the earth (Millenial kingdom since it is talking to Israel) and those who believe in Christ go to heaven, a totally different place. The difference here is heaven vs earth.

Being meek means 1)enduring injury with patience and without resentment 2) MILD SUBMISSIVE
not violent or strong 3) MODERATE. I feel these meanings do describe most good people the first meaning pertains to forgiveness no matter what a person may do to another, the second, being submissive to God's laws, not violent and depending on God for strength and the third being moderate instead of greedy.

Well first being good won't promise you a place in heaven. Salvation depends on several things including accepting that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Confessing sins and asking forgiveness of sins, and living like you were living right next to Christ. Doing away with all activities that are contrary to the Word of God and living a Spirit filled life.

Psalm 37 is a song of David which is addressed to the people who have no belief in Gid and to God himself.
He was singing to God that those who do not believe in Him (God) are like plants who are easily to be dried and vanish . If you believe God and do good things, you will stay on earth and live happily. and the wish of your heart will be given by God. Do not ever plant hatred to others because it will bring you to darkness or bad things.
All bad doings or bad things will be moved out but those who believe in God will inheret the earth (it is not the earth in literal meaning)
All non believers of God will be punished and their bad doings will be vanished or disappear but those who believe him will stay with God abundantly and with happiness ( that is in heaven It is the rightious who will posses heaven and sinners will posses the harships in hell.(not the earth literally).
God will laugh at the bad man becasue God know what is coming to be done on earth (punishment). The bad ones are doing their best to dismay the good ones in doing good yet they want to end the good ones.
It is more better and good to have a few good people than having many people of wrong doings.
You can continue reading it until you finish reading the whole verses and the book, then you will understand everything.

The scriptures talk about heaven but also a new earth that will be created from the old. Those who trust in Christ will inherit both. I don't think they'll be relegated to one or the other.

God's meaning of "inherit" and possess...is quite different
than yours. No one can possess Heaven, except God.
You cannot "take possession" of Heaven. It is a privilage
and by the grace of God and his mercy, that he ALLOWS
us to enter heaven. It is on HIS terms....not ours. And it
does say in the bible,...many many times over that believers
will go to Heaven. You are twisting the words I see.....nice
try.

Psalm 37:29
A very interesting anomoly. Most of the Jehovah's Witness doctrine seems to be based on this scripture.
