There is only one problem. Ishmael was not bless by Abraham as heir. If you read about Esau and Jacob you'll understand that the father had give the blessing of birthright to the heir. Abraham sent Ishmael and Hagar away without the birthright blessing.
Also, Ishmael was not a baby. It's very clear that Ismael was old enough to treat Issac poorly. Since Issac was walking and Ishmael was older he was at least 6 or 7 when Abraham sent them away.
Yes, God did honor the fact that Ismael was Abraham's son but not as first born.
Also Jews have not always been hunted down and slaughtered by Christians. You might want to check into the actions of Muslims in this area.

Yes, this well called Zum Zum is well known amongst Muslims throughout the world,
However, there is a word of Caution about what these days is being commercially sold in earthenware-looking Plastic Jars even in some European countries.
Saudi Embassy in London, and Possibly it's Embassies in other western countries as well, have issued similar press releases stating that "Export" of water from this well is "Prohibited" by law in Saudi, so they wonder how can people claim to have imported these containers claiming to contain water from this well when it is "illegal" to export it, implying that what is being commercially sold in some countries isn't what it is claimed to be.
It is possible that some clever traders have registered a brand name "Zum Zum" and the public fall into the trap of not knowing the suttle difference between a brand name and what it contains.
Someone had water from such a commercially available jar lab tested, and were horrified at the results.

How odd that Mohammed disagreed with you. He felt that the arabian peoples were far more oppressed and needed God's message more than the jews. The last 6 centuries have not exactly been a cakewalk for the arabs either. They suffered many conquests and massacres, often at the urging of the christian church and with the encouragement of the jews who wanted their homeland cleared.

Muslims blessed? That definitely is a matter of opinion.
I'd rather be a Christian, living in the West, with all its problems. And of course there has a to be a reason why the West has so many Muslim immigrants.
Maybe that is why the religionis growing - increased numbers.

God told Abraham to send Ishmael out of his camp so that there would be no doubt as to who was the heir to His covenant with Abraham. Abraham loved his son, Ishmael, and asked God to bless him also. God never told Abraham that the promise or the covenant was going to come through Sara until Ishmael was the 13 years old.
The story of Hagar illustrates how natural human efforts counter God’s plan. Ishmael’s birth reflects human effort and that makes the son of Hagar unable to accomplish God’s plan for salvation. On the other hand, Isaac’s birth, which happened through direct intervention from God, was able to accomplish this goal. Even though Ishmael’s birth was not God’s plan for salvation to come into the world, God, in His mercy, blessed Hagar with Ishmael through Abraham, His chosen, and as promised, made twelve nations from him. Hagar became a point of God’s great mercy and grace even through the hardship she experienced.
Abraham and his sons, Ishmael and Isaac, were blessed by God to be the bearers of his name and participants in His great plan of Redemption for the entire world. Ishmael, the eldest, would share in this blessing through his father, Abraham’s, petitions to God and God’s mercy on his servant Hagar. Isaac, the promised, would share through God’s plan and divine purpose. Both blessed of God, in different ways, but blessed indeed. Ishmael could not share in the promised covenant of God as the “chosen one”, as he was not the son of the promise, Isaac was. He was, however, to share in God’s plan of Redemption through the sacrifice of His Son on the cross. Ishmael would be a reminder to all that God is sovereign, yet merciful.
