My knowledge of Christ abides in my heart. I know, and I acknowledge that what I do, say, or even think can be "sin", that is best stated as missing the mark of perfection that God demands.
If God were to come to live, physically, in my body, or heart, or anything else, and He could if He so desired, my body would instantly die. True, God and sin can not coexist, and nothing sinful can come into His presence. The point that you have missed is that while I am still very much "sinful", I am viewed by God in light of what Jesus did for me at Calvary, and by my asking Jesus to be my savior. It isn't "the right words" it is a matter of believing that Jesus is Messiah and confession that He is savior. Other have made the mistake of just saying the right words, and having been caught in that trap.
Sketch, there is a spiritual world that you know nothing of, and you attempt to reason based only on the world that we can physically see, and understand. There is a lot more to it than what our physical senses can determine. On the physical level, your question makes sense. On the spiritual level, your ignorance is glaring. These are things perceived spiritually, and to the natural person appear to be foolish.

We continue to sin because this is a sinful world. If we committed no sins then why did Jesus die to forgive sin? Being forgiven of sin is not a license to go ahead and sin. Try as they might not to, everyone sins. Read the Bible and you'll see that even the disciples sinned. They may not have intended to-but they did. That doesn't make sinning right, but it's the truth. Yes, Christ lives in my heart but sometimes my mind and mouth overtake my heart. I fall into temptation and give into sin. I'm sorry for it. I confess it. I ask to be forgiven.(that's what Jesus came for) I try to sin no more. But for right now, Satan is the ruler of this earth, thus sin is part of his rule. But that won't last forever. God will re-take control. Satan and sin will be abolished.

Why cant God coexist with sin? God is everything, God is everywhere. God is energy and we are part of that energy. We are his creation and so are the angels and devils. Everything that are in this world are the creation of God. Love, hate, anger, happiness.. They are all feelings that God has blessed us with. Even temptation. Temptation in a weak man's heart causes sin.. with the help of the devil which was also created by God. God is eternal.. And we exist cos of His will. No one is saved until they die. For till then, they will still be vulnerable to committing sins. God is not here to forgive everything that we do wrong.. but here to judge whether everything that we do is right. If we were to commit a sin, did we do the right thing and repent? Or do we continue to commit more sins. There's no such thing as a free lunch in this world, as there's no such thing as someone paying for all the wrong things u do. What is the point then of trying to do what is right, when all that you've done wrong will be forgiven?

If Christ lived in your heart???? How would he deal with all that blood pumping through there? He would have to be ...... like really small and have some sort of breathing equipment like a scuba diver.....?? I'm sure if god created everything he surely created sin too. Didn't he create the devil (Lucifer the most beautiful angle). I'm sure If he created sin that he could coexist with it. Where does that logic come from anyway.
Yea, just speak the words and everything is ok. Try this prayer
"Jesus, forgive me for my sins and all the sins I haven't got around to doing yet"

God has been coexisting with sin ever since Adam and Eve sinned in the garden. He will not coexist with it forever though. He made a way for those who want to be with Him to do so without sin. Jesus came and took care of all sin through his death on the cross. Now we can be seen through the covering Jesus provided. God has now thrown our sins away because we are relying on the sinless life of Christ. Because of that act, all sin can be forgiven and forgotten.

We continue to sin because we are in a corrupted, flesh body. The spirit and the body are separate. In fact, they are at "war" with each other most of the time.
Forgiveness comes by the mercy and grace of God. Yes, if one is truly saved then sin becomes exceedingly sinful to them. This does not preclude the fact that while we are "saved" we remain in a worldly, "desire for the flesh," body. Do we desire to sin? No, absolutely not! We want to do all things pleasing to the Lord. Paul explains this "battle" in Romans 7. http://bible.crosswalk.com/OnlineStudyBible/bible.cgi?passage=ro+7&version=nkj&showtools=0
Here's part of it:
Romans 7:14-15
For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do.
Salvation comes as a result of your belief in Christ. It is God's response (by sending His Holy Spirit) to a true and faithful heart. It's about confessing with the mouth AND believing in your heart. God can read hearts and minds.

If you are a Christian then yes. It is whatever man said is a sin. I have never once seen in the bible where it says some words are bad to say yet man says that some words are bad. Christians say that God will forgive all sins if you are truely sorry and ask for forgiveness so there is no sin is there?

Once a person accepts Jesus as their personal Saviour, and
believe the bible and his words, that he is the Son of God,our
Creator in all things. You accept him into you heart, mind,
body, and soul. Yet, we will sin, because we are only human.
Human beings are not perfect. Only God and Jesus are. So,
we as humans are going to make mistakes....and we are to
learn from these. God gave us free will to choose right from
wrong. As long as we try to do good, and try to live by his
words, and repent for our sins , ask for forgivness, and thank
him, and give praise to him, he does and will forgive us. We
are spirits...that live in our bodies. This earth is school...we
learn..and go to the next level. We need to develope our
spiritual selves as much as possible.

When God created us,He copied just like Him.He gave all the features what He had.One of the feature is Independence of will or free will.So it depends on the person to think sinful or Godly.God never forces anybody to be His followers, otherwise it becomes against the free will He has given to them.In fact in just a click of fingers God can make anything to a person, but He will not do such things because He wants an unalloyed love from people.By force nobody can love.

They can coexist because god wouldn't have a purpose without sin,, he tries to prevent it, it's up to you what you let get the better of you. Think of common morals,,, forget the biblical reference, it doesn't matter to the person you can truly be, free, and free from bible-thumping, no offense but relax a bit and live life, dare to make mistakes and sin so you can learn through experience, NOT FEAR!
