Is it a purely physical affect or is it something else?

We form the weather. What we call "The World", is a projection, a dream. We are doing this, it is not being done to us.

Certain areas have certain weather...tornadoes in one area, hurricanes in another; this is because people of similar mental patterns/attitudes, tend to gravitate toward, and live close to one another, in a pattern of psychic attraction.

Mind affects/forms,/projects physicality...it is not the other way around.

It definitly affects the body. Have you heard of Seasonal Depression? We all have that to an extent. The different seasons affect us mentally.

As far as spiritually, I believe it affects us too. For instance, new growth in spring has a profound affect on me and I consider it the new year- it's like a fresh start. Everything seems clearer and I have so much more energy than I did in the winter.

All energy is spiritual energy. To separate it out and call it "sexual" is rather silly. The ego would claim energy as it's own and create the feeling of power through the direction of energy one way or another. When it is directed by ego for the purpose of ego, energy doesn't feel very "spiritual". Even then it is all ultimately "spiritual".

think of it this way... if you physically are in a room with an abnormally high or low amount of oxygen, it will effect your body, change how you feel, how your body behaves, ect.

the way I would imagine it is that various weather and seasonal and similar things provide varying degrees of different energies, which would tend to effect different people in different ways.

In addition, people who have not set their intentions firmly "blow with the wind".

The practice of deliberately choosing thoughts that serve you reduces the effect of:

1) weather
2) what other people say, do, or think
3) health status
4) your old bad habits
5) anything that distracts you from fulfullment.
