Valvoline and Castrol are both very good oils They both do a great job of keeping an engine clean and well lubricated. But that is unimportant to most dogs. Occasionally you get the odd dog that is more sensitive than most. in that situation go with your gut instinct, you'll rarely be wrong

Hi Victor, It depends on what kind of auto you have. A small car would use the Castrol they have to work harder. A nice big auto or Suv and bigger truck would use the Valvoline. They both are good oils.

If you drive normal, change your oil on time, and your vehicle does not require a synthetic, it should not matter. Just get the right weight oil. You may only see a difference in the additives, but most people I know add their own regardless of the brand.

Dogs do not need or use motor oil so why not ask in cars and transportation, that may get you more answers.
