For about a year now I have had a horrible time falling asleep. When I get tired I lay down, but I feel SUPER irritated. I get REALLY mad when people try talking to me...i don't know why it just bugs me when I'm tired. I use to think I was just cranky bc im tired, but Im guessing its more than that now? Also when I get sleepy and lay down it feels like bugs are crawling all over my skin. I know there are no bugs actually on me, but it feels like it. Like my skin is itchy. I literally scratch my skin. I dont know if its nerves or what but its REALLY annoying. I almost feel bi-polar bc when im tired ill get mad at people when they talk to me, and if they dont catch what i say ill FLIP OUT and go nevermind i dont want to repeat it! and sometimes feel like crying. Ive tried all kinds of methods from music to baths and nothing seems to work. Could this be a form of insomnia or something? And since i cant sleep at night, ill sleep during the day, but i wont have those symptoms at ALL! help!

I read about a patient who had a similar condition of feeling crawling. you need to lay there and not stratch no matter how iritating it is. you will eventually get over it. as far as getting angry, probably too tired. you cant sleep because your to excited about something. sit down for an hour before bed and drink hot chocolate or something and jsut sit there and do nothing. dotn even read or think about anything. jsut sit there and let your mind wander but dont focus on anything.

These are symptoms that can be associated with stress.
Take up some things to relieve your stress.
Firstly, exercise. This does two things. If you are fit then you will sleep better. It also makes you relaxed. Walking is a good exercise.
Secondly, try some meditation or other relaxation techniques.
Thirdly, try aromatherapy. Lavender and sandlewood are good.
Fourth, get a good schedule. Don't sleep during the day, go to bed at the same time.
Fifth, fix your life. If you are stressed then you need to find out what is making you stressed and fix it.
Finally, there are medical conditions that make you unable to sleep, but if you are sleeping during the day it is probably not a medical condition that is directly causing this.
Insomnia is a chronic condition, so there is no cure as such. So all you can do is try a whole range of different things. My feeling is that you mustn't just focus on the sleep, but on your whole life and fix all of that in a wholistic way. Maybe you need to change your job or find new friends.

A practical seek advice from to the health practitioner might internet you a prescription for Ambien, or anything equivalent. Ambien works wonders, You will go to sleep inside an hour, absolutely 30 miutes after taking it. Be cautious despite the fact that...if youve no longer taken it earlier than, you'll go to sleep it doesn't matter what your doing on the second. It simply renders you performed for the night time. There are different medicinal drugs that may support as good, once more, transitority measures towards sleeplessness. They are designed to make use of on a transitority foundation, till you're capable to get your sleep styles again on monitor once more. Lunesta works good too, however I could love to provide you with a warning that during a few men and women, me and my spouse, it leaves a horrible steel style to your mouth the complete subsequent day. Its dangerous sufficient it makes it difficult to devour or drink. I have recognized a pair men and women that didn't become aware of the dangerous style. Ambien is quite well. Ambien CR is a time free up variant that doesnt rather have the "knock out" outcome as consistent Ambien, however it's intended to support hold you asleep al lnight with out waking up. I on no account had that predicament while taking Ambien. Again, simply be sincere together with your health practitioner. If you'll point out data approximately alterations to your agenda, or sleep styles, that can be contributing in your sleeplessness, he shouldnt have a predicament prescribning it to you. It works wonders, quite. There isn't any disgrace in simply asking him to take a look at it. If you do check out it, be definite that you've a well eight hours earlier than you have got to stand up once more. You would possibly sleep at LEAST that lengthy.

Perhaps it is your lack of sleep that is making you irritable.
I used to work in graveyard shifts (7pm to 7am). Therefore I need to stay awake on my off days and switch over to night shift on my working days.
I am able to sleep using the following:
- melatonin : I took 1-2mg. I have colleagues that take up to 6 mg. The average is about 3mg. This is non additive. Another point is melatonin need no doctor's prescription. You can read more from this site
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/melatonin.....
I have even read from books on melatonin that it is an anti-aging pill. Not bad. You sleep and stop growing old.
- use lavender aromatherapy. Lavender smell help me to sleep after a night shift.
Some addition tips I used
- The most important rule is not to force yourself to sleep.
- Get a boring book with a topic you want to learn. Read until you are ready to sleep. Listen to classic music as you read.
- No activity before you sleep. Avoid watching movies, reading ghost stories, pillow fights, exercising.
- Keep the clock as far away as possible. The ticking make you even more afraid and awake.
