Yes, I considered it a few years ago. I got through that low point in my life, moved on, and there's no need for me to revisit it. Now I can concentrate on more important things like studying His Word and trying to do His will.

Yeah. I have. I have been a Christian all my life. Tragedy struck my life, GREAT TRAGEDY and I wondered where was God when this happened? Why could He let such a bad thing happen? I found my faith faltering. I wondered if God was really as good and powerful as I once thought He was. It was about that same time that it came to me that this life, that tragedy, isn't the end of things. God has reasons for things that I as a mortal man, can't and don't, understand...but He does. It came to me that the next life (Heaven) will last forever. All things will be made right. My loved ones will all be there. We will live in eternal beauty, perfect health, no problems what so ever. I learned that the problems and bad things in this life will only last for a given number of years anywhere from 1 year to 101 years but then it will be over. The next life- Heaven will be only good things. And those good things will last forever!! Forever-the human mind can't fully comprehend what forever is . We learn that things have a starting point, a beginning and a finishing or ending point. Heaven has a starting time but the end, finishing point, doesn't exist. It's endless. Accept this life on earth, make the best of it as you possibly can, and go on. God loves us and has a great plan for us. Trust Him. Remember-God loves us so much that Jesus gave up His earthly life to save us. If Jesus, Gods own Son, can go through tragedy and death, what makes us think we can't? Jesus earthly death seemed like a bad thing. He's dead, it's over, it's sorrowful, a tragedy....wrong. Jesus came back to life and so will we. Jesus death made sure of it. Yes, God exists. You can find out about Him in the Bible, (start with the book of Job) Christian publications, radio and TV programs. Why not give them a try?

I comprehend the place you're coming from. you notice, with atheism, there is not any ideology; there is in simple terms the essential loss of theory in deities. there is anti-theism, which explicitly denies the existence of deities, and then there is agnosticism which claims to lack information on the existence of deities. ordinary adequate right? properly, no longer likely. there is not any unifying ideology; anybody develops distinctive doctrines and that they are in a position to overlap. additionally, those 3 factors can merge and make figuring out one's right stance complicated. as an occasion, that's stated that i'm an anti-theist, by fact that I declare there are no deities by fact that I have not have been given any compelling reason to have self assurance they exist. in spite of the undeniable fact that, I renowned that my declare, in spite of the undeniable fact that based on observations, is entirely a hypothesis, no longer a theory, no longer to point actuality. So, it could then be stated, that i'm an atheist, by fact that I comprehend that i could okay be incorrect, yet nonetheless have self assurance that there are no gods. in spite of the undeniable fact that, by acknowledging that i won't have the ability to truly comprehend if any deities do exist, i could be seen an agnostic.

it's an old story well covered in literature of the priest who loses god or renounces god, possibly even stories like it in the bible. His family is killed and he says "why did god do this to me?" but later in the story he finds god again and it helps him win in the climax.
Many also come and go from religions, i was raised more or less xtian but am not a believer. People from all religions do this.

Yup. I am a "hardcore Christian" but I didn't grow up with God. In fact, for the first half of my life I didn't believe that a god did exist, let alone the God of the Bible. I was also heavy into wicca in my early teen years. I cannot tell you how amazing it is that God changed my life alone. I love Christ with all my heart, I attend a Bible institute, and i have a tattoo of a bible verse...lol, who'd have thought? Now, instead of making fun of Christians (which, sadly i did) I'm shouting "Jesus loves you!"

Have you EVER considered the possibility that as long as there are believers that there may be no satisfactory answer to this question for unbelievers who repeatedly ask it in a myriad different ways?

If you do not seriously doubt the existence of God, then your attempt to prove his existence is completely biased by your own preconceived hopes and notions. While it is impossible to remain completely objective, to minimize subjectivity it is necessary to look at both sides of the argument. Not only does it enlighten you, it ultimately deepens your faith, having concrete reasons for your faith, rather than just ephemeral whims of the heart.

Something had to start this mess of mass and energy. There may be many Gods and we even know the true names of some of the greater Gods.

I used to be agnostic. I came to the belief that God existed late in life. Try to prove that he doesn't exist and you might be surprised at the evidence you will find that he does. Look at the theory of evolution ( which I believe should called a hypothesis) closely and I bet you will find that it does not stand up to its own criteria for scientific theory

Yes. It was because of my doubts that I searched and have found the truth that has set me free from the false teachings.
