God exists outside the notion of time and the universe is contingent on God's expression for its existence. God is timeless, in that he sees the passage of temporal time as you or I see a range of mountains far in the distance. At this distance the range of mountains seems to be one continuous line, yet as we get closer we see then mountains separated by miles and miles. God sees everything in the "eternal now". Hence, time does not "pass" for God.

So God knows all that you will do. But that does not mean you don't have Free Will. If I stand atop a building and watch two cars coming around opposite corners and know that they will hit one another; the fact that they do indeed crash, does not mean that I caused the accident or that the drivers did not act according to their own wills.

Like the observer of the auto crash above, God knows what choices you will ultimately make in a given circumstance. Moreover, God may have acted to bring about these choices just a parent may do by providing a loving environment, shelter, education, counsel, and other of life's opportunities. Just because our parents laid out the tools for us, we are free to choose the paths we will take using these tools. God's behavior here is a form of determinism but not predestination since the predestination term implies that God has actually determined (rather than seen) in advance the destiny of creatures.

So how is a perfect God's demand for justice for sin reconciled with our own imperfections? Here we find that God came up with a perfect solution. He became flesh, lived a perfect life, and acted as our representative in God the Father's court of justice. There He was judged and crucified, carrying all the past and future world's sins with his crucifixion. God the Son, Christ, became our sin bearer and we need only acknowledge that sacrifice to be made "justified" in God's eyes and in God's demand for justice for sin.

Think of it this way. Your son does something like breaking a neighbor's window. Yet your son is too young to be made to pay for his crime. Society demands that the parent then act in the son's role and pay for these crimes. Likewise, God the Father allows God the Son to be humankind's representative. Christ paid the price for us all; it is deposited there in the justice bank of God. We need only claim our "share" of that account's balance and present ourselves to God.

In summary, a perfectly just being, God the Father, requires that sin be punished. In the Old Testament, such punishments were the slaughter of an innocent animal, accompanied by prayers of adoration and contrition to God the Father. These lawful rituals drove home the point to mankind that there are consequences for bad behaviors. These lawful rituals also foreshadowed a more significant means of reconciliation before God the Father’s demand for justice. A perfect being, Christ, willingly went to His death. A perfectly just God the Father, knows that the Son’s death is not justice, for the Son was sinless. Therefore, the perfectly just God the Father credits anyone who will claim the Son’s death as payment for their sins.

People often reason basically that God is omniscient. He knows everything, even what is going to happen in the future. He knows what each person is going to do in his life, and he already knows the exact moment and manner of each person's death. So according to their thinking, when the times comes for an individual to make a decision, his choice cannot be other than the way God has foreseen and foreordained it; otherwise, God would not be all knowing. Does this reasoning seem sound to you? Consider what its logical consequences would be.

If some force has already determined your future, then trying to take care of yourself is useless. Choosing to smoke or not to smoke would make no difference to your health or that of your children. Wearing a seatbelt while riding in an automobile would have no effect on safety. But this is faulty logic. Statistics show that people who take precautions suffer fewer fatal consequences. Carelessness can result in tragedy.

You asked a good question. If God chooses to foreknow everything, then even before he made Adam and Eve, he would have known that they would disobey him. But when God told Adam that he must not eat from the tree of the knowledge and good and bad or he would die, did God really know he would eat from it? When God told the first couple be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth, did he know that their wonderful prospect of life in a paradise was doomed to failure? Of course not.

1 john 4:8 states that God is love.
Psalm 37:28 Jehovah God is a lover of justice.

This indicates he does not create people to simply die off. His purpose is found in Genesis as stated above.

And he has felt the pain of giving some greedy people free will. Just take a look at Genesis 6:6" And Jehovah felt regrets that he had made men in the earth , and he felt hurt at his heart." So surly he would not have made man knowing he would feel regrets in his heart.

Keep asking your questions, you will find your answers.

God knows everything is true. God gave you free will when you were created. God knew the choices you would make in life, but God gave you the chance, ability and opportunity to make your own choices. Example: If you ask a High School honor student "what is 2+2? You know full well, that the student is going to answer that 2+2=4. You knew he/she would say 4. You didn't make them say 4. You didn't force them. You knew ahead of time what they would say but you left it up to them to give the answer. This is about the same way it is with God to us. He gives us what we need to know but leaves it up to us to do the right or wrong thing.

Do not blame a God for the works of a primitive culture. God is just another word to explain what is unexplainable to a less educated man who gave up on not knowing.

It is the less imaginative people that stop thinking at the God construct that would believe such stupidity of the bible.

I would normally live and let live but the religious fools are trying to force the world into accepting their insanity.

There is no God there is only cause and affect. All thoughts are creative and love is creation. God only lives in the creative imagination of men and woman that choose to call it real. Get it?

It is God's plan that we should all come to know and love him. We are all born of sin nature because of the original fall from grace. However, even the worse of us can come to know God and to do his work. Look at Paul. He was a big-wig in the Jewish community doing a great job killing Christians until God had Jesus have a little talk with him. Granted, he did blind poor Paul for a few days; but, in the process, Paul came to know that Jesus was for real and eventurally it cost him his life. There is this thing called the Great Commission that Jesus left for us to do. That is, we are to go into the world and introduce the unbelieving (unknowing) about the promise of salvation and everlasting life. We are only doomed if we choose to be.

Man was given free will and were created as Gods in GODS image...after being disobediant to God everything changed. So, the answer to your question is no God does not know if you will choose heaven or hell...That is up to you to confess by mouth through faith...the alternative is going to hell to the kingdom of the fallen angel we know as Satan.

Study the bible enough to get some insight before asking 1,000 people about something they know nothing about. The power within a "real" Christian is greater than anything in this world...more astonishing than magic (spiritual), nature, or anything else you can think of...Wanna see something cool? Find a real Christian and ask them to command their faith to serve them...I have commanded things to work in a given matter of seconds and everything is delivered as asked...The promise of the Biblical prophecy is there, you have to know how to open the door with the key of faith....read Mark Ch. 11 vs 28.

Jessica, your logic is very wrong.,

God knew everything because God is powerful, intelligent and the Mightiest. Without God you are nothing but dust. God gives you life.

When he created man as a soul body which came from the dust, He have expected that man will not go against him and will obey Him(God) of his laws. But because of the temptation of evil spirit, man was enduced to commit sin and have disobeyed God

God had punished the first man and woman for commiting sin against God. The evil or Satan was also punished by God

The snake is the most wisiest of all animals that was created by God who enduced Eve to eat the forbidden fruit and have managed to tempt Eve then Eve has convinced Adam to eat the same fruit.

So that God imposed punishment to Satan who is the snake to walk all along through out his life crowling using his stomack for walking and will eat dust until the end of his life.(read the bible,Genesis for more punishment given to the snake)

God told Eve in punishing her of her sin that she will get more hardship in conceiving and she will be hardup to give birth to a child and her wishes is for the husband who will be her head(meaning a man is superior than a woman).

And to Adam, God said because you head the voice of your wife and eat the forbidden fruit., you will suffer for hardship in cultivating the land where you will get foods for you.. You will eat bread until you will return to dust where you were taken and because you are a dust , you will return to dust.

As a man everybody is bound to commit sin against God, so God punished the sinners and will reward the non sinners.

So do not say that God will bring you to hell or heaven just without reason. Your going to hell is your own doings and you may go to heaven if you will make good to obey God.Do not blame God of what you have done wrong.

Point 1:
If the only people he created went to heaven, there would be no free will. We would all be robots obeying our programming.

The fact that some people choose hell, just proves that there is free will.

Point 2:
Does He know what you're going to do? Sure, He also puts people in your path to lead you to the right descision. At some point, the choice of accepting or denying salvation becomes yours, and your after-lifebecomes your resonsibility.

Point 3:
Man cannot know the mind of God. His ways are not our ways.

Point 4:
God can know that something is going to happen, and both do nothing about it and nothing to encourage it. God is fully capable of sitting back and watching the show.

Point 5:
Frankly, it's not His job to railroad you into choosing salvation - it's your job to seek it.

Please get it right.

God did not create soul or matter. All the 3, ie God, soul and matter (maya) are eternal entities and none of these has power to create or eliminate the other two eternally present elements. None has the power to distroy itself also.

However God has the power and capacity to create us into different form of bodies and create this universe in planetary systems or any other system.

And because He knows everything, he puts us into human form also from time to time to make us realise Him. The necessity of whole creation by God, is for this purpose only.

You are free to waste your human life and not realise Him, if that is your objective in this world.

He (capital H) made us to choose on our selves. God doesn't have complete control over us He only has power over us. He loves us and is not domineering. If he had complete control, that would be like, you know, Him playing Sims. Why do you think people are doing sins If God completely controls them. That means, we, the people, can change our path to good and not suffer so I therefore conclude that it isn't God's fault that bad people are going to hell rather those people's fault.

Hell is simply the grave so all people go there when they die. Only a part of humans will be able to go to heaven as man was originally purposed to live on a paradise eternally, not in heaven.

God does not predestine our lives. The saying, "life is what we make it is very true." It is our decisions that makes our future, not God's intervention wholly. God have foreknowledge, yes, but it does not mean that he designed what would be our life. I mean because of God's vast knowledge he knew what will happen should you choose either one or the other when faced by a decision to make, that's what knowing everything means. But it isnt God who chose a decision, you did...
