You can do it, as soon as his testicals drop and they vet says he's healthy enough to go into surgery.
Good Luck :)

Remember that when you neuter, you are cutting off all hormones to the body. Some of the hormones are used in growth. Males neutered young tend to be more feminine in appearance. I'd wait until the dog is at least a yr old before neutering. Studies have show that it is best for his long term health and development.

The normal age is from 5 months old. Before this is too risky to put such a young dog through the operation. With male dogs, the testicles may not have fully descended before 5 months of age. Take your dog to the vet to have his vaccines at 8 weeks of age, and they can advise you when they want to see him for neutering.

Typically between 6-8 months of age, but check with your vet.

Some vets do it as young as 6 weeks or 2#, an advantage is the pups heal quickly and recover fast.

Any age is good but most vets prefer to do it at 6 months of age. Any earlier is slightly more risky but it's fine to do it earlier.

My own vet recommends calling for an appointment as soon as he lifts his leg to pee, or at 6 months, whichever comes first.
