eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

I believe in trying to look at the cause first because sometimes you can isolate one particular problem rather than making life more difficult than necessary by cutting out things that are not a problem anyway.
If you drink a lot of pop (coca cola etc) change to the sugar free varieties. I think this is the biggest cause of obesity and so easy to change.
Ration yourself if you eat too much chocolate or confectionery. Sugar is a bigger problem for most people than fat.
Buy products made for diabetics (marmalade, jam, chocolate) because they are sugar free.
If you like fast food, cut down. Pizza and anything with cheese is very fattening. KFC is fattening and MacDonalds is crap covered with sweet sauce ful of sugar.
Do eat enough, but eat right. Don't starve yourself because that won't work.

Today someone told me a good diet is to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and eat nothing except meat. No bread or anything else. So just WATER and MEAT ONLY!!!

ok first you wont loose weight in a week or two
you need at least two to three months, eat at least three meals a day never skip break fast eat five a day (fruits or vegetables) no fast food and exercise let me know what you are planning to do I am a personal trainer

i lost 15lbs in 5 days
1)jogging every morning (haw far? depends on your stamina)
2)tae bo 5 times a week (1hr)
3)hot yoga twice a week (1hr 30mins - to strech and relax your muscles from tae bo and jogging)
eat healthy and drink at least 80 ounces of water a day.
eating jalapenos and taking 3 table spoons of apple cider vinegar will boost your metabolism!
-i feel toned and really healthy =)

best diet is to count calories, which means read up on how many kilojoules you are eating, you should eat about 4000kj a day dont eat not enough food or you wont have enough energy to exercise. exercise lots. everyday. if you exercise everyday all week i recon you could lose about 7kgs.
