It's completely up to you. I wrote all of mine, but we used a stamp for our return address so I wouldn't have to write that, too. I have a friend who printed her addresses on her wedding invitation envelopes, and I thought it looked very classy as well.
It would be tons easier to print it out, but if you want to make it seem more personalized, I'm sure your guests would appreciate handwritten addresses also.

Are you sure you don't mean save the date cards? If this is the case, you can order them along with your invitations and then you won't have to worry about writting them. As for which is better...I would say print them if you mean your address, but if it is the address you are sending them to it needs to be hand written. Also try looking online and search wedding etiquette and it will have the answer to this and any other question you will come up with. Plus if you find an idea on there that you like, but maybe other friends or family memebers don't you can kindly tell them it is proper etiqutte so they can hush! Congratulations!

The people are right, engagement announcements/bridalshowers/etc. all seem like a ploy to get gifts from people. Send out your wedding invitations, and send them in print. We did ours in print, and it looks great.

Sending out engagement announcements is frowned upon because it looks like a ploy to get gifts. You aren't confusing it with save-the-date cards are you? Engagement announcement is usually via the newspaper. Call your newspaper to see if they have a fill out form.

Printing is much easier, and let's face it, out of all the mail you opened yesterday can you remember which envelopes had printed labels and which were handwritten? Envelopes get thrown away without a second glance, so print them off and save yourself arm ache.

hmmm. those seal and deliver invites are frustrating. i do no longer think of you need to have the means to print quickly on them in the form of vogue that doing a bulk quantity could be truly worth it. you will probable ought to do labels. in case you look at forte paper businesses on line perchance you will locate off white labels. or however in case you talk with a interior of reach custom printing save they could song some down for you. however if it truly is somewhat wedding ceremony another determination to play with (in case you have extras to objective this on) is a trick i take advantage of with scrap-reserving printing. Take the cardboard and gently tape it to a properly-known (eighty one/2x11) piece of easy-weight card-inventory. If it hangs off the long end it rather is okay in some printers.you could run the piece of paper by like favourite. The trick is getting it located right and one the cardboard-inventory in the form of vogue it would not jam up. in spite of the undeniable fact that, whilst you're doing greater effective than a pair dozen could in simple terms be insane by fact they ought to be executed one after the different. solid luck.

Some people have beautiful handwritings. In that case it would be preferably, and certainly more personal, to do so. If you handwriting is not so great, for appearance sake, print them.

My question is, why are you wasting postage on that? Everyone is going to know you're engaged when you send out the wedding invites.
