For the uneducated person that called me a nasty thing-i advise you to be careful what you say to others as it does come back on you and you may one day find yourself with them-its had nothing to do with being nasty or not-they are contracted through a person who has them by contact or even sitting in the same chair as they did etc-i work at a school and they had an outbreak -you dumb ***

the medication is made specifically to kill the scabies and not hurt you. It is usually applied for 20 minutes or so, washed off, and repeated in 12 hours. It can happen to anyone.

The warnings that is put on the bottle from your pharmacy is there for a reason. When had this one time(10 years ago), I showered, applied it to my skin for 10-20 mins, not 8-12 hrs! That seems like way to long of a period. I would double check that with your doctor and or pharmacist, that sounds like a typo to me. Not only do you have to wash all of your clothes and bedding in hot water but also make sure your pets are free of these buggers as well otherwise they will come back.
