Depends on a couple things. I can't tell you that you do or don't have a problem. I can share with you the information I have and you can make a decision for yourself. I am an addictions therapist, I work with adults with substance abuse problems. When I do an assessment on someone to see if they have a drinking problem there are a couple questions I ask.
Have you had to change the way you drink or the days you drink because you felt you needed to control it better?
Do you lose time from work due to drinking?
Is drinking making your homelife unhappy?
Do you drink because you are shy with other people?
Do you drink to losen up at parties or bars?
Is drinking affecting your reputation?
Have you ever felt remorse after drinking?
Have you had financial difficulties as a result of drinking?
Do you end up hanging around people you normally wouldn't?
Does your drinking make you careless of your family's welfare?
Has your ambition in life changed due to your drinking?
Have you tried switching from hard liquor to beer and wine?
Do you think about drinking in the morning or during the day when you are stressed out?
Has your drinking caused sleeping problems?
Have loved ones mentioned to you that your drinking bothers them?
Have you lost friends and family due to your drinking?
If you need anything email me.

Sorry im not a lady but medically you are a alcoholic if you have to drink on those three days even if you dont drink on the other 4. Alcoholism is an addiction even if yours has a schedule it is still a problem that you need to deal with before it gets worse

An alchoholic is not only based on how many times you go out and drink but how much you drink when you are out. Some people it takes alot before they become drunk. Some people just go to mingle and just sip on a beer. If you are not only going out three nights a week but also drinking heavily maybe you should evalute your drinking. If you are concerned it is a good idea to cut back now.

NO of course not. my mom is and she starts about 11am everyday. i have a drink once or twice a month. every time hubby sees me drinkin anythin like that he calls me one but it soooo isnt true. you just need to know your tendencies though. do you feel like you need it 3 x a week? if you need a drink everyday then yes u are if you give in an drink. just cause you want one doesnt make you one. in retrospect i think everyone needs or wants something to help cope with life. it just differs with different ppl. some pills. some alcohol. some food etc etc. hope this helps.

It depends on how much you drink, and whether you know when to quit. If you drink heavily 3 days a week, or if you can't seem to stop once you get started, ther is a good chance that you are.

I'm not sure why you'd only like women to answer this, but here goes.
Drinking once a day is not bad if it's done in moderation. ie. a glass of wine or a couple of beers.
However, if you are getting seriously smashed each of those three nights, then you are what is known as a binge-drinker, and you are doing just as much damage to your liver.
Please be careful!

That depends on why you drink, how much you drink and if you do it secretly or alone etc. Why do you drink on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays but not any other day?

In my opinion, definitely not.
I don't drink, but my father does and so does my brother, so I know what an alcoholic looks/drinks like. The fact that you drink only on certain days, tells me that you not an alcoholic, because you have self-control.

Yes if you do this alone, and if you get drunk to the point you might not remember things the next morning! No if these are social events, and you don't get to the point of intoxication!
