Umm...i think most people would define ailens as something different, such as an organism not native to the land/planet. They usually dont define it by brain size or abilities that allow us to survive. Intelligence is just another tool to help us survive....a cheetah, if it had the capacity, would marvel at its own ability to run at fast speeds.

The assertion that we only use 10% of our brains is a myth and although I agree that we are wonderfully designed, I don't think that is necessarily an argument for being a space alien...

Of course if you mean to equivocate aliens (from outer space) with political aliens (lacking immigration documents) then that is a fallacious argument. Illegal aliens are defined by the law of the land, not by their metaphysical nature.

The idea that we use a small portion of our brains is a myth. That aside, an alien is somebody or some creature that is foreign to us. We, the human race, are not foreign to ourselves.

I like lost history theories, where we were once more advanced but we lost knowledge somewhere and started over. We lost our magic abilities and had to make machines or because we bagan to use metal and machines.
