If my basal metabolic rate is 1500 and you need to reduce that by 500 calories everyday to lose 1 pound a week - wouldn't that be unhealthy for me considering it's "bad" if you consume less than 1200 calories/day? Or should I eat normally but more healthy, and keep at/increase my workouts? What would be the healthiest way to go?
My BMI is 22.9 I think - if that means anything. I am 5'8 and 145 pounds. I am trying to become more chiseled/toned. Thanks.

I did get the calculations from the net, and from my doctor. That's what I posted! lol. I am asking how do I get more toned if it would be unhealthy to cut my diet --- would I need to drastically increase my work-out? That kinda thing...
