I am fairly new to the dating scene and finally have had the courage to ask a girl out. I recently met this girl at the mall and asked her to dinner. She said yes, and we went out the following night. I felt the date went really well and we surprisingly had a lot of things in common. This girl seems really nice and I would like to see her again. Now, here is my concern: I told her that I had a really good time and that we should do it again sometime. She responded by "yes we should". She also stated "I'll definetly be in touch". Now how do you think I should take that? Does that mean I should wait for her to contact me? Should I call her soon? Is that her still being interested or is she saying.......eeeehhhhhh maybe.? It's been two days since we went out and I haven't heard from her. Should I be concerned at all? I don't want to call/text her and seem overly interested. (even though I am interested) Any suggestions anyone?

I would give it two more days and then here's what you do. Call her to say you just wanted to thank her for a great evening. Keep the conversation light, mention you were thinking about going to a movie, and see if she bites. You should be able to get a feeling of where she's at. If she doesn't say anything about getting together again then move on. She could just be gunshy, maybe she's had bad experiences dating or maybe she is still getting over someone else. No matter what, if she doesn't want to go out with you again its most likely because of other issues and not because of you. You could also tell her that you liked spending time with her and that if she's interested she should let you know. Don't be afraid to be honest and say what you feel. Us women like a man who is kind and honest.

You should call HER. Most girls expect the guy to follow up because when WE do it, it makes us look desperate.
She's probably wondering why you haven't called!
Call her! Now! Well, maybe in the morning. Not too early though. Make a second date. It sounds like the two of you really hit it off.
If you wait too long, she will think you're not that interested and she'll then be suspicious of you. You don't want her to think you just are interested in sex. The longer you wait, the more likely she'll think that.

Wait until tomarrow and call her. Tell her that you just wanted to let her know that you enjoyed the date and her company. Tell her that if she is up to going to see a movie or go for some coffee or a dessert. Something that does not mean an all night commitment. It seems loose and easy. Good Luck

BE THE MAN. No girl wants to be the one to call after a date. What she said was just talk, something to say since that moment is pretty awkward for both parties. Just call her!! The worst that can happen is that she's not interested. So what? At least you'll know for sure instead of waiting.

simple the 3 day rule of waiting. after 3 days call her and say ( hey i had a pretty good time the other night and i was wandering if u were busy on friday or if u had plans every girl no's this stuff.

Well, you're only options are to either call her and figure out whether she's interested, or to sit there and wonder. What's it gonna be? Don't fear rejection. If you're just starting to date, get ready, cause rejection is bound to happen. It will happen TO you, and YOU will do it to someone else. All part of the single life. Have fun!

Give it one more day. Call her then and tell her how you enjoyed your date and how you'd like to see her again! Say it just like that. Then if she says yes, id like to see you too then you'll know. If she hems and haws and acts like she is way too busy to do anything anytime soon then don't expect a date.

Give her a week. If she doesn't call then call her. Give it another week. If she doesn't call back that means she's probably no interested or shes just to busy. But if she calls 5 months later, she desperate.

you are reading to much into little things. you need to take the initiative, strive for what you want in life, and WIN.
what do you WANT? is it to CALL her? call her WHENEVER you want (as long as its not too early/late) you'll be happy you did, and if it all blows up in your face, then dont take a crazy love doctor's advice ever again.
