I hope this can help a little. In the book of Genesis (1:26-27), it says "Let us make man in OUR image." This is the idea that Jesus was there at creation. If you look at Genesis 1:2, the spirit (Holy Spirit?) was hovering over the water.
In the first chapter of the Bible, the entire Godhead (God in three distinct persons, but still only one God) is present.
I'm sorry if I didn't get the "through" part answered for you, but Christ was there at the beginning of creation.

The Gospel of John, In the beginning was the Word (Christ) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
He was present originally with God.
All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.....
He spoke and all things came into being.
Later in the same chapter it says And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and lived among us.
Jesus is the Word.

Jesus is God the Son, only begotten Son (begotten, not made by God) of God the Father. This line you quote is from the Nicene Creed (written by St. Athanasius in the 4th century to clarify Christian doctrine) reaffirming the eternal divinity of Christ as part of the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), meaning God the Son participated in the Creation. The Trinity is a sacred mystery, of course, but as far as man can understand, Christ is the Eternal Word spoken by the Father, and by His Word the world was made, and by His Holy Spirit, He guides his Church to this day.
P.S. I'm disappointed in some of these answers; I expect the agnostics to sneer, but if you call yourself a "Christian" and what I've written above isn't obviously true to you, you really need to learn more about your faith.

Well God is Christ and The holy spirit - and Christ is God and the holy spirit. The Holy Spirit is God and Christ, too. They are not 3 seperate pies of a pie. Think of it like 3-D, ok. When you measure a object you do width, height and depth. That is the theory simpified. You also measure speed in 3 parts. Christ is also called the second Adam because when Adam was created he was a man free of sin, so is Christ. Adam fell into sin to sin eventually, though. Christ is the perfect man free of sin.

Sounds as if you're better of an agnostic than an atheist. in spite of the indisputable fact that it may be a contradiction in words for an atheist to hate God because you may't hate that that you concentration on no longer to exist. What surprises me is that you've common an interpretation of a few, that adult males made up the Bible to administration the 1000's, and that psychology has shown that God is a figment of the mind's eye. once you study the Bible, did you word that centuries before some factors of organised faith began controlling the 1000's (it really is a pun, in case you imagine about it), the Bible warned us that "The god of this device has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so as that the mild of the gospel of the respect of Christ ought to no longer shine with the help of." (2 Corinthians 4:4) if you're taking as reality what spiritually blinded human beings state, you'll never see the respect of God in Christ. How about only taking off to prayer and in search of God? never ideas what every body else says - set your self to finding out only how genuine God is! mission Him!

Philippians

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me..
2 John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

It means exactly what it says. That all things were made by, for and through Jesus Christ. Jesus was there in the beginning. I'm sorry, what about that isn't clear?

It is like a company God is the boss He tells the Foreman (Jesus) what to do and Jesus makes sure the worker (Holy Spirit) gets it done.

God created his son first, Jesus, then God with the help of Jesus created everything. Jesus was a great help to God. In the first book of the Bible, Genesis , God said "lets create human like us" - when saying like us, God was talking to Jesus.
So, through Christ means that Jesus contributed a lot in our creation.
