No my wife had our two littlest one at 33 and 36. Best timing we ever had. We're much more able to provide for them now than 10 years ago, and we are still young enough to enjoy them. They are now 9 and 11 years old.
Go for it!

No! not at all. After 34 they say the risk of down syndrome and other disorders increase like 4 times or something, but even then you can go see a doctor from the beginning and be safe about it. But at 33 you're still totally fine. Go for it girl! There's no better time then when you feel its right.

No.

Assuming the mother is healthy 33 is a pretty good age. My wife had her fifth child at 39. That was pushing things a bit, but mom and baby were both fine, and the child is now 21 years old.

I wouldn't say so. My mom was around 35 when she had me (her third child). For some people it's not a good idea, and for some it is. Keep in mind though that women over 30 (some sources say 35) are at a higher risk for having a down syndrome child. Would you be willing to raise a down syndrome child? Theres nothing wrong with having a child at 33, but weather or not it is logical has to do with you personally. If you want another child discuss it with a doctor, your husband or significant other, and perhaps your 1st child.

Not @ All... My mom had me @ 33 and my brother @ 31 and she is my bestfriend today! Her and my dad were the greatest parents, because unlike young parents they had good career jobs, were established, and finally ready...they were old school but still cool! Go for it, U only live once or as I think of it, forever ... Us as parents live on through our children when we R gone- Good Luck N Baby Dust!

Not at all. So many women these days are opting to start around 32-33. I personally think it is a better age, because you have more life experience.

yes. I had a baby at 33, though I adore her it is very hard to keep up with a child at that age and it might seem like it wouldn't be. As you get older you have less patients.

Certainly not! My mom had me at 30, then went on to have my two younger brothers in the next 5 years. I think having kids into her 30's kept her young. With so many teens having babies these days, it's nice to hear that women in their 30's are having babies in a stable situation. Go for it!!!

No! 33 is not old, its a perfect age as you are ready to be a mum, mature and experienced and you do not want to leave it too late or they will be too young to play with your first child.
