Everyone said that Jesus died willingly for the sins of people. Why then did he said" Oh god, oh god, why hast thou forsaken me?"
Isn't it an irony?

You were at the foot of the cross; right. The disciples heard you say that and reported it in the gospels.
Jesus did not die for our sins. He died because of our sins. There is a significant difference in dieing for sin and dieing because of sin. God did not kill Jesus we did. It was the sin of man and the action of man that killed Jesus. It was not a demand of the General Operations Director of the universe that the wages of sin is death. Death is the result of sin. Occasionally we can not see the connection but it is always there. When an action results in destruction it is sin even if the sinner does not know it. However it was not the unknown sins that killed Christ. Those who killed him did indeed know what they were doing they just did not know the magnitude of the results of what they did.
There is some indicaton in the gosples that the power to save even his corporeal self was available Matthew 26:53

When you say He couldn't save himself, it sounds like you think He did not have the ability to do it. Of course He had the ability and power to save himself. However, He made the choice to not and die so we could be saved.

There is only One person that could save humanity. That person was One that never sinned and still paid the price for it. Had He sinned or decided the sacrifice was not worth it, we would live and die without any hope for eternal life, and that is a pretty pointless life in my opinion.

But I thank God everyday, because "the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."

I'm not a Christian, but I do know this. Jesus died on a cross for the sins of the world, but was resurrected on the 3rd day. That's why we celebrate Easter. Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus is God. Jesus is also the creator of the Universe! What do you mean, he can't save himself or anybody else? Of course he can! He can do anything. He's God!

But Jesus DID save himself... not when it would have been easiest for him to do so, but when it would bring the greatest benefit to humanity. If Jesus did not first Die, he could not have conquered death for the rest of us by Raising from the dead. He was already telling people what he was going to do in the second chapter of John.

John 2:19 Jesus answered [the Jews], "Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up."

Yes, Jesus felt forsaken by God . He bore the sin of the world on himself and his disciples had all abandoned him. But even in his cry to God, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" He is quoting scripture (Psalm 22:1). Scripture from King David describing the crucifixion of Jesus the Christ. He already knew he would die this way before he even came to Earth in the form of a human baby... and he Still did it anyway, Saved himself and all who believe, and LIVES today and forevermore.

The pharisees and skeptics were saying the same thing to Jesus while He hung on the cross. But they didn't understand what He was accomplishing by not coming down off the cross. By staying on the cross and dying there, He opened the door for us to freely come before God and have fellowship with Him. By shedding His own perfect, sinless blood for us, it became the only and final sacrifice we would ever need to have right relationship with our Heavenly Father God. Jesus was then resurrected from the dead to show the ruling principalities that they no longer had the power of death over us. We didn't have to be dead in our sins anymore.

OH REALLY. You as some of the apostles, look for a earthly kindom, how sad. Jesus Christ could have saved Himself, but that would not have been the will of Father God. Blood is the atonement for sin. Jesus Blood is perfect and sinless, and for you He hung on that cross. So you could have atonement. Not because He had to,but because He loves you like you have never been loved before. Make Him your king today. He loses not one to death and the grave. He will remeber your name,at the apponited time. And you can be an joint heir of Christ. Do it today.all you have to do is belive that God has accepted The Precious, sinless blood of Jesus,as payment for our sins.

He rose from the dead. Sunday we celebrated the Ressurection, remember? He said He would come back in 3 days and He did. He has victory over death. He died as a sacrifice for all the sins of mankind. Please read the book of John, takes one hour. You will know a lot about Jesus after that.

Was Jesus unable to save Himself or did He choose NOT to do so? The Gospels said that He has legions of angels that He could easily summoned to His bidding. You are ignorant of the Gospels. Jesus' purpose of coming to earth was to save us, not Himself! He came to give His life as a ransom for us. He died to save YOU. If He had saved Himself, YOU would still die in your sins. And right now, you are still going to die in your sins and be eternally separated from God if you stubbornly refuse to repent of your sins and trust in Jesus for your salvation.

As to why Jesus said "My God My God, why have you forsaken me" you need to understand that Jesus was referring to Psalms 22, a Messianic Psalm that most Jews would be familiar with. He was telling them He was fulfilling the prophecy of David. Jesus did faced His moment of darkness on the cross as He "became sin" and bore our punishment on the cross for us. He could have said "God where are you?" but instead specifically cried out the first verse of Psalm 22 because He wanted to direct the people's attention to that fulfilment.

Well the question is flawed since the basis of Christianity is that Jesus chose to be on the cross (vice not able to get off the cross) as a substitute for mankind since the wages of sin are death. So if you believe he couldn't, that's your issue.
