I wouldn't date a younger man. Girls mature faster anyways and the younger, the more immature and backstabbing they can be. Don't get me wrong though. I've just had a bad relationship...

No, there is no reason it is wrong for you two to be dating, especially if there is no sex involved. Keep it that way, tho, as it will give you two a chance to really get to know each other even better than you do now, without sex complicating matters. You might find in time, he is too young for you in the way of life experience or things might work out really well. Only time can tell, and time is on your side. Good Luck, have fun.

He only likes you cause you're older. In 5 years that age difference will no longer be matter and he'll drop you like a hot rock. The difference between 16 and 19 is huge, who are you kidding, not me. It's not the same as 21 dating 24.

If you're not having sex then the age doesn't matter. Do you two like each other? Do you have compatible interests? That's all that matters.

Even if you were, most of the laws have changed that it's considered when someone is under 18 it's okay if you and the other person are within 3 years of age of each other.

The age difference is a big deal at this point. Give it like 5 years and see what happens then. A 16 year old BOY has no clue about relationships.

Well....there is a big difference in 19 and 16. I realize it's only three years, but...hmmm. Boys at 16, Girls at 19, I'm thinking not a good match. Is it wrong? Well, the fact that you asked the question tells me that you might think it's wrong. Don't expect too much and follow your heart.

i'm not likely specific approximately rules the place you're, yet in Canada, i don't think of there's a regulation like this. yet i wouldn't likely be attentive to because I moved right here purely a year in the past. in my opinion, i don't think of the age distinction is only too vast. it is purely 3 years distinction. in case you maintain on into your 1920s or some thing, human beings will see you as a twenty-3 year old relationship a twenty-six year old and it is not a huge deal. i think of it is the element of age that makes human beings think of it is incorrect. quite often because of the fact human beings decrease than sixteen are nonetheless seen minors and might't relatively be relied directly to make the best judgements, curiously. i wish you do not choose to maintain him as your boyfriend because of the fact he's your first. that is stupid. yet once you relatively like him, i think of you are able to desire to stay in touch for till you change 18 and notice even if in case you opt for to stay with him or not. in my opinion, i don't think of it is incorrect. yet while it could get you the two in hardship with the regulation via this, then... nicely, it only sounds precisely like Romeo and Juliet, would not it? If it could get you the two in hardship, I propose only staying pals till you're legally in a position to be in a dating with him.

As long as you both have a deep understanding developed and yes love each other intensely enough for you to overlook the facts that there will be places you'll have to dominate and he'll look to you to guide him... issues where you'll have to put your ego aside and explain expectations of a 19 year old to a 16 year old... All that in perspective... its smooth sailing....

Luck to u both!

maybe not wrong but probably illegal.find someone closer to your own age.right now it does not seem like much of an age difference, but the older you get you will see having someone your own age is better you grow together.you are too far ahead of him..probably not what you want to hear but sorry the truth.i am 8 years older than my boyfriend we have been together 20 years and i wish i could go back

I don't think its wrong. Older women getting younger men is hot now a days, but seriously, dont worry about it. You know how you feel about each other. Age isnt even a factor. I could see if you were 42 and he was 16. That'd be disgusting, but you're not too far away from each other. He must be really mature or something... Yes??

Even casual touching can be considered grounds for child molesting (if his folks or anyone else felt like calling the cops on you). For your sake and his, forego this "serious" relationship and maintain a proper distance until he turns 18.
