As of this coming Sunday I will have officially skipped 2 periods in a row. I have been on birth control for about a year, skipped one pill but made it up the next morning. Then my period didn't show up, so I freaked out and took 3 pregnacy tests and all were negative. I was adviced to stop my birth contorl to let my cycle run it's course, Now as of this Sunday I will have missed yet ANOTHER period! I took another pregnancy test just 4 days ago and it was also negative. I don't feel any different...is it possible that I am pregnant?? Any advice??

I don't think it's very likely that you are pregnant if you only took one pill late and you have done a number of pregnancy tests.
I have no idea why you skipped your first period, but the reason you have skipped another one is probably due to you coming off the pill. It is common for normal periods to take a while to return when coming off the pill.
Just try to relax and your period should return at some point. Try to see it as the pill messing up your cycle, which is very normal.

I definitely think you should go to the doctor (and I say this because that's what I was advised to do when I skipped periods while on the pill). They'll probably do a pregnancy test just to make sure, but they'll also check into other reasons for you missing your period.

Its just your hormones balancing back out after skipping.he pill can still be 90%effective even when you miss a day and put that then at the odds of someone with no contraception only has a 30% chance of becoming pregnant in any given month,so dont worry the test would be positive by now if you were.

it can take 4-6 weeks after a miscarriage for your cycles to become regular again. Try using an OTC OPK and see if you are ovulating, use the daily ones. If after 2-3 more weeks, you have negative OPK and HPT's and no period then schedule an appt with your GYN. Good luck!

First of all, do not listen to lunatics from yahoo who tell you that you "definitely have cancer...".

Secondly, many women have infrequent periods or no period at all while using the pill - there is a wide range of reactions.

As others have said, the best thing is to visit your local doctor for peace of mind and a check up.

You don't say how old you are so I have no way of knowing if you might be in perimenipause, which could cause missed periods. You really should see a doctor, anyway, to be sure what the problem is. It could be something serious that will have to be taken care of by a doctor.

This can be a symptom of PCOS. Some women with polycystic ovary syndrome miss their periods, some only have one period a year, others just have irregular periods. If you google it, you can find out more. Or you could just have a hormone inbalance caused by the pill. Ask your GP to do a hormone (not pregnancy) blood test.

birth control pills have some weird side effects on people. just go off them and make the guy use the old 'swim suit'!! lol

it could even be your diet, and you should pur yout age on hear to give people a better idea of what it could be. as it could just be menapause or cancer (unlikely) like that other crazy person said, (nice way to scare the sh1t out of her).

but your shouldnt be on hear asking you should be asking a proper doctor as they will have a better idea of what it could be.
