Well it depends. Sometimes the guy pays for both to be honest she should ask him about some guys dont like it if the girl pays. I know my sister paid for her ticket to prom and her bf paid for his only because it's over $100 and for high schoolers thats a lot fo money my sisters prom is $65 a ticket yicks!

now adays getting invited to a prom doesnt mean what it used to mean, he doesnt pay for everything anymore, he pays half, half of the prom ticket, half of the amount for pictures,half the amount for the limo,half the amount for dinner. the only thing he might pay for fully is the flowers.good luck!!!

If it’s his prom and he invited her, I would think he’d pay.
However, I was raised to believe the guy always paid, and that’s what I taught my sons. But my oldest (the only one yet dating) has told me that girls get mad at him because he won’t let them pay their way. So, who knows what kids do today?

It is always appropriate for the inviter to pay the freight. But the invitee can offer to help if the event is costly.

if he asked then he sould pay but it would be a nice gesture to offer help i mean at least pay for your daughter's dress since she's wearing and keeping it. but he should pay for the tickets and car.

is her bf paying for his ticket..........did her bf ask her to go with him if he did then he sould bay for both his and hers ........ but in case he didnt get one for her i think she sould by a ticket...................ask her to ask her bf if his paying for his only and she has to get her own...or paying for both his and hers
