Abraham worshiped Jehova. Jehova is God. God is Jesus. Jehova is Jesus.
God became flesh. John 1:1

In other words you are asking if Christianity is "better" than Judaism? Yes. The purpose of Judaism - and of Abraham - was to bring the Savior of mankind into the world. This is the purpose for which the "chosen people" were chosen. Once that purpose had been accomplished, the Old Covenant passed away, and all mankind is called to worship God as Trinity under the New Covenant, as Christians.

John 8:58 - Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
Abraham called God, Elohim, which is a plural form of God. God is one in unity. Jesus was with the Father from the beginning.

No...we are no better, worse than the Father of the Jewish people...Abraham knew God directly, spoke with him as we speak with friends today.
Jesus --if you read Genesis, and reference John...Jesus is the WORD...and was spoken by God...he is God, one and unique., present with God, the Spirit..the time for Jesus to be made real on earth hadn't come yet...Abraham's interaction with God does not diminish or negate Jesus, nor vice versa...

Abraham is still one of the Patriarchs of Judaism and Christianity.
It's Abraham's bloodline that Jesus was born into.

Comparative faith study? I in elementary words evaluate the bible in identifyng real Christians. John 13:34-35 says they have love for one yet another. this suggests they do no longer have interaction themselves in warfare and stay impartial in political conflicts. In Luke 4:40 3 Jesus confirmed the price of preaching the sturdy information of the dominion in his life. real Christians stick to that. (a million Peter 2:21-22) those are in basic terms some which won't be able to be recent in Catholics and Protestants. yet i nevertheless appreciate them, as a former Catholic i do no longer have the favor to make any judgements about them. we are no longer protestants. we do not trust in Trinity. i do no longer what's your foundation of Christianity being divided in elementary words in to 2 (technically). The bible shows sparkling marks of real Chrisitianity. thanks for asking
