so apparently jesus is coming back...would anyone be likely to believe if a woman became pregnant through immaculate conception, today that is? would you be less likely to believe it's him depending on the race of the individual, or even the religion of the parents, or what if his parents are a lesbian couple, or what if jesus is born a girl? keep in mind jesus was a jew. so i'd say it's highly likely he could be born of any other religion. would you be likely to follow someone who called himself the messiah if say he were a black muslim, or an asian buddhist, or a mexican atheist?

scully, didn't he do that the first time? are you saying god didn't make him perfect?

johnny, i read it. can you please explain what 1 corinthians 13:8 has to do with what i just asked? or were you just avoiding the question?

spirit p, you're assumption is based on the fact that there would be men around to compare it to. but what if that dna sample doesn't match. would you accept that it's jesus or would you still assume the baby has a father that just hasn't admitted to it.

mrdav, weren't there were prophecies of his first coming too, that so many people ignored? are you thinking?

i love it when i ask the questions nobody wants to answer directly. notice how the question completely got avoided? couldn't just say yes or no. wouldn't want to admit that their faith has it's limits. that would be too easy wouldn't it? in stead i get hit with insults, threats of the afterlife, and irrelevant scripture.

as far as jesus' return, from what i've gathered the real return will take place in the sky. so take the previous examples i've stated, and just assume this baby is born on airplane? that would fulfill prophecy, wouldn't it?

the Lord has proven his reality to me over and over again. Ask and see, will he not prove that Jesus is Lord? I challenge you; do it.
For example, say, "God if you are real, then cause someone to come up to me, today and tell me this in these very words,
'God in Christ is real'" or something, you choose. Make it hard but possible...but highly unlikely. taste and see the Lord is good...
or, rather try this: is there something you have a broken heart about? Ask God in Jesus' name, to heal you...and see how you feel. The peace that passes all understanding will come over you!

Jesus already gave us the manner in which He would return. How would something contrary to that be a test of faith?

What were you thinking?
WERE you thinking?
Is there no end to irrelevant hypotheticals?

Edit:
Yes there were prophesies, some ignored, some accepted, but they were there for all to read. Where did you get your ideas from? It appears that you can neither think NOR read.

You may feel that making things up and arguing for them makes you a legend in your own mind, but to the educated, you're just embarrassing yourself.

After a certain point, it's just.....sad.

Scully is almost right, He is coming back in full power as a representative of God, the Son of God, to prepare the earth of the Kingdom.

You should read the new testament, really I mean this kindly. Find out what we believe.
Jesus will not be born again here on earth. He will come as God in all of God's power, not through a women again.

He's not coming back like He did that time. This time He'll be coming in the clouds.
Revelation 1:7
BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

It doesn't say that He will return as a baby. It tells us that He was already born of a virgin, crucified, resurrected, and will return at an unspecified time as the son of God. Who cares what He looks like?

A real test of faith is one to see how willing you are to buy whatever crap someone feeds you. I fail every time. If God really existed and loved us like they say, he would make himself known by obvious means.

when Jesus returns he isnt going to be born as a human again. He is going to come in full power as God.

I think it is clear that he will be a male, Jewish and from the holy land. Of course, if you see his coming again as a metaphorical thing then yes... He comes as all of those people. He is everyone that you see in the street.
