Your question is very deep.
If you do not know anything about PC then it will take more time and space to explain but I try to be short.
For listening audio you must have audio driver installed which usually is already installed in PC. Then you must have an audio player which could be, Window Player, Real One player or any of your choice.
Now, if you have audio file(Music I mean)on your hard drive then first Click icon of any audio player you got then from File choose what you want to listen by browsing PC. Example
If your music is on C drive or H drive. when you click Open in audio player you could see Desktop/My/Documents and for others browse and locate the music. It will bring that music to Player and will start play.
If you need further help send your problem in detail to nihon94@yahoo.com and will try to help OK?

Use an audio player, like Windows Media Player or Winamp. You'll also need speakers or headphones, of course.

Ummmm.....
specifics aside:
1) put in a CD and should start automatically (or start WMP and click play)
2) Some have a built-in CD player program
