True Christianity is in a backslidden state in this country. We have become desensitized to sin and have forgotten that we are to live to honor and glorify God in all we do, say and think.

Our gospel is soft, and we ignore the preaching of God's holiness and wrath and preach almost exclusively on God as a God of love and compassion thereby putting the sinner at ease both in and out of the church because they cannot see the awfulness of sin and its consequences

For many prayer is a menial exercise that has little if any weight in the kingdom of God, and self-sacrificing prayer that involves warfare and takes great effort and strength against the powers of darkness is a dream instead of the reality it should be in our daily lives as Christians.

While the world rushes headlong to Hell, the church has been busy with picnics, concerts, and multitudes of man-directed activities that rarely touch the lives of the lost who we have been commanded to reach. Evil abounds on every side and the body of Christ seems powerless to stem the tide. Oh we have little victories here and there, but we are not a powerful army of soldiers in the thick of the battle for lost souls.

We hear many speeches about revival, we have conferences upon conferences, and so many teaching tools to prepare us to be what we should be, and yet we are the laughing stock of a sin laden world.

Has the church changed. Someone once said, "As goes the church - so goes the world." A look at the world should tell us clearly what state the church is in. Judgment must first begin at the house of God. It is our time to repent for the sake of a world gone mad around us and needing to see Christians move in the power and demonstartion of the Holy Spirit.

Well lets see, they murdered people because they thought they were witches in the 18th century. They quoted the Bible to keep slavery alive during the 19th century. They fought equality for African Americans and started segregated "Christian Schools" in the 20th century so their children wouldn't have to go to school with African Americans.

I think they pretty well stay at the same level they've always followed.

The confusions never stopped evolving, they just kept growing until there is barely anything left of Truth!
