Can you tell me some things we should not miss to do....I am
a digital camera fanatic - but we want some not so touristy things to do...suggestions? Spiritual trips? Where best to stay? Timeshares there that are fantastic...whatever you are willing to share to make this trip spectacular...though the surroundings and company will be a great start. From Boston or Manchester NH airport what offers the best flight options and which airline should we consider? Thanks so much for your help....

Southwest will take you to Phoenix from Manchester. In Sedona Red Rocks everywhere! Find one of the 4 vortex sites Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock,Airport Vortex or Boynton Canyon for getting in touch with the energy. Visit the town of Jerome, a charming old mining town turned artist mecca (not as expensive as Sedona and about an hour away). When leaving the Grand Canyon to return to Sedona travel down 89A Oak Creek Canyon, in the late afternoon light this place is just majical! Switchbacks, Red Rock, Aspen Trees, just not to be missed! Also the Western Rim of the canyon has a new attraction the glass canyon overhang on the Hualipai Reservation . I'm so jealous, I want to go back! Enjoy

Rent a real 4x4 and drive Schnebly Hill Road at sunset.
Drive up to the Grand Canyon but start by driving up through Oak Creek Canyon up through Flagstaff. Stop along the way and just get out of the car. If you time this right you can do Schnebly Hill Rd on the way back.
Hike the long loop around the Sedona airport
Take a flight from Sedona to the Grand Canyon (not to be believed)
Do the Cathedral Rock hike at sunset.
Rent bicycles and head south on 89 to Red Rock State Park.
Rent bicycles and ride Schnebly Hill from in town.
Have a ball.
