My favorite flavor chips are made by a US company called KettleFoods. Lightly salted is my favorite, followed by New York cheddar, and salt and vinegar. The company makes what would probably be considered gourmet chips- other flavors include Tuscan 3 Cheese and Spicy Thai.
I like them because the chips have more natural ingredients than chips like Pringles and Doritos.

There's two answers to that.
i prefer pita chips that are a lot heartier.
But aside from the expensive canister of Pringles, I prefer Lay's original; most US chips are either heaviy on some seasoning, greasy, or thin tasting.
These aren't.

In Thailand we have loads of spicy and mainly seafood flavoured chips. But unfortunately I can hardly find my salt&vinegar one's over here.

I dig the salt and pepper kind. And what's wrong with American crisps? What's different about them in your country? Ever make your own? Great!

Smith's chips in Australia make a cheese and onion flavour, can't be beaten!! Don't know if you can get it elsewhere...
Also Kettles chips here have a Chilli flavour, it's damn spicy but addictive!
