Nope. Parsis practice the original Zoroastrian religion. It has been theorized that Judaism may have been influenced by Zoroastrianism during the Babylonian period, but I see little to support it.

Yes they are. The Pharasees were the teachers of the day and the elders. They followed both the oral Law and the Tanakh (the Torah and the rest of the OT).

The Sadducces were not part of the same sect though. They did not believe in the Oral Law. They did not believe in an afterlife or in ressurection or in salvation. The High Priest was elected by the Roman Governer and was a political office. The Sadducces followed the fashions of the times along with the lifestyle. These are the people that Jesus is mostly critizing.

The Sadduces did not want the Messiah to come because that would mean that they (including the High Priest would be out of a job).

The rest of Jewish population on the other hand eagerly awaited the Messiah. Their were different sects of Judaism at the time - but they all respected each other and engaged in banter to challenge each other's beliefs so that they would not stagnate in faith or be mislead. There were Pharisees in all the sects, and they instructed the Jewish people for free - and worked to earn money on the side usually in labor intensive jobs.
