Wounded soldiers need help now. Immigration can wait weeks, it has already waited years, they can't. But what I can not understand is how the government sends men and women away from their families to fight for what they call "democracy", and latter when these soldiers come back to their country wounded, the government can't even offer them a good and decent care. The conditions of some of the hospitals designed to serve soldiers and veterans are just disappointing...

Can't we build a wall and take care of our soldiers at the same time! What's the hold up.

edit* Do you mean long-term effects of illegal immigration? If so, then I think we are already seeing the damage that is being done. Our health care system is in crisis, the strain on the welfare system is immeasurable, the crime rate of illegals is uncountable, and the patriotism of these carpet-bagging thieves is deplorably non-existent. Something has got to give.

Taking care of the American people first; that would be Soldiers. But, the long term effect; You pull at the patriotic heart, that is not fair BTW.

Taking care of wounded soldiers should be the priority. They made a sacrifice for us and now we need to pay them back by giving them the best care.

Our governments dont seem to be concernerned about the "people" on either issue. Both are a detriment to America,it is a sad time when our soldiers are fighting for a country that is being takin over by law breakers. And a sad time when both countries governments only want to line their pockets at human cost,GOD BLESS US ALL!And God bless our kids at war.

Very tough... not sure if asking that question here is the best thing for you, but if it were me, I'd go with the soldiers. Good luck!

Actually illegal immigration and the long term effects on the economy, the education system, the health system, and the peace and order situation.

War can be stopped anytime. Illegals, I doubt.
