In the Name of Allah Most Merciful Most Gracious
112:1 SAY: "He is the One God:
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
112:2 "God the Eternal, the Uncaused Cause of All Being.
اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ

How can God create Himself?
How can God be a man?
How can a man be a God?
How can God have a son?

It's impossible to convince a MIND that God is not Man but it's possible, although difficult, to convince a HEART that God is not Man. It's true that faith is born out of personal conviction but it's also true that it's not sustained by reason. Reason gnaws at it's grandeur, and exposes it's bones. As a result, you get disillusioned. The entire concept of divinity in any religion then stands exposed as a mere reflection of human imagination, no matter how systematically it has been built up around beliefs. So, although I don't suggest the enquiring mind to be put in abeyance or to be extinguished in the matters of faith, I do plead the innate beauty of human heart to be kept away from the sharp weaponry of reason/logic and nothing but the innate beauty of human heart to be allowed to blossom in such matters. Please don't get angry when you envision a man's face while trying to believe in the 'magnificent entity' of God. Anger is least spiritual of all emotions, even if it's righteous. Smile and believe. Believe and smile. You will ignore the emergence of 'man's face', and find peace.

Jesus was a man, and that is why you envision a man's face. Yet God is more than any man has and ever will be, and although referred to as "He", He isn't anything like we could ever imagine. God is THE divine being, so magnificent to behold that the Bible can't even describe a physical way for us to behold him. Instead of trying to see a figure of God, or the way he would look, think of him physically as the light of the world. I had the same problem as you, but now when I hear "God" the first thing that pops to mind is a bright light, for "He is the light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."-John 8:12. Being a Christian means alot of things, and of course faith is argueably the most important. Have faith that God exists, whether or not you can put a face to a name ;) It's nothing shameful to picture him as a man, but every time you do that, make haste to tell yourself that he is nothing like man, he is everything that we can be. Perfection. Since we don't know anything about absolute perfection, we don't know what it looks like, lol.

Only you can convince yourself that God is a Holy Man as you read and ponder the scriptures. There is plenty of evidence in the Bible and the Book of Mormon that God the Father is really what He says He is--that He is a glorified Man and not in a female form whatsoever.
The fact that you are irritated and frustrated over the truth that God is male is a problem that you must overcome by yourself through study and faith.
Or you can continue living in your fantasy world that God is something other than Who and What He is.

1. leave the toilet seat up?
2. spend Sundays watching football?
3. not call the next day?
4. be afraid to commit?
5. fall asleep on the couch?
6. insult your mother?
7. want to have sex in the morning?
8. think farts are funny?
9. wear the same underwear 3 days in a row?
10.start wars?
God still looking like a man to you?

But that does not need any convincing! It's natural that God is not Man. What needs a proof is that Gos is a Man like some people say.
A man eats .. do you think God eats?
After eating, man should get rid of bad food from his body.. Do you think God goes to toilet?
A man gets scared, does God get scared?
A man needs to sleep. Does God sleep?

Sweetie, all I can say is that God is calling you. I hope you accept Him. Besides, God can't be man, because man couldn't have created all of creation. We just don't have that kind of power. And yes, you are right, God IS a magnificent entity. God Bless.

I'm willing. God is "the supernatural being conceived as the perfect and omnipotent and omniscient originator and ruler of the universe; the object of worship in monotheistic religions", "deity: any supernatural being worshiped as controlling some part of the world or some aspect of life or who is the personification of a force", "idol: a material effigy that is worshiped; "thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image"; "money was his god"".
Does any of that sound like man to you?
Second of all, God doesn't exist.

God is not a man. not a human being. man and women are said to human beings. As for you having those images of god being a man, it's because god was portrayed that way. The prophets were men, things like the men being dominant beings. Aggressiveness (if this how its spelled) is one of men features. No offence, but men spread the word better than women do and the roughness of the mens voice is what make them more heard. so stop whining ^^

Look into the face of a seventy year old woman who has raised two or more generations of children and you will see the face of God. Look on a newborn's first smile and you'll see the soul of a feminine God.
