Call this a simple "thought experiment". Lets say there is no God and that we don't get our morals and ethics from the Bible or from God. AND, there was no reward for good deeds or punishment for bad deeds, in the eyes of God.

How would you then act, lawless or composed?

I would be in the mountains hiding out from everyone, hoarding food.

Composed. That is my personality now and it was my personality before I became a Christian. Now, I am just more so.

If He were not what He is, I would not be who I am. I would still be lost in the wilderness blindly lusting for fulfillment.

it doesn't we don't and the only reward is social exceptance so I think we would be fine , I know I am
