After all, how many people of any culture would try to do so much to degrade and shame black people. He gets on television to say "he wasn't gloating" well he shouldn't be he did nothing posititve. as usual rev al is just mocking all black people by making all his "stands" on controversial issues to create hatred.

Please don't get me wrong, I am not defending Imus either.., I don't think his comments were the least bit appropriate. But, then again, I don't know how he has stayed on the air for so long without more trouble.

I do pity him, and I pity all the people who are taken in by his phony hero-of-social-justice act. He only wants to make life better for one black person: himself.

Now Al Sharpton has said many racist things.
But here is something else. If my father was alive he would have said, "Men are not suppose to talk about women that way." I haven't heard Sharpton or Jesse Jackson refer to any women as "hos." Now I heard raptster and hip hop can be very gross but they don't have a TV show where they have important political figures as guests.
Now if someone called my little Irish daddy's daughters "hos" it would go against his moral ethics to try and get that person fired. He felt it was wrong to cause a person to lose their job.
However, being the Chrisitian gentleman that he was, he would not hesitate to put Don Imus on his backside.

I'm not defending Imus in any way here -- but after what Al Sharpton did to Steve Pagones, he does not have the right to criticize others for making racially based comments.

A jury has already determined that Al Sharpton made racially motivated lies no at least seven occasions.
