Just because the bible might have some faults, or may be completely false, does not mean that a God may not exist. God is a concept, a Supreme Being. Maybe he never even left us a bible. Does that mean that he doesnt exist? Absolutely not....

So remember, attack the concept of God, not the bible.

As you can clearly see, Satan has a hold on their minds. Any contradiction we think we see in the Bible is our fault, it's our inability to comprehend the wonder and power of the Almighty.

I attack both, quite honestly, when attacking the concept of faith and religion. The bible is the handbook of those who are religious and has contributed to the damage caused by god's followers. I do not believe in the concept of a god or gods nor do I want the bible considered truth and fact. They are separate arguments, true, but they are also very much the same.

I use the Bible, although I am not a Christian (although I follow Christ's teachings). I don't have a problem with most of it until people try to take it literally. Some of it obviously does not fit in with itself.

Anyway, I'm not an Atheist, but I don't really have a religion. I agree there may be some Supreme Being. I kind of just see that as the universe, but in a mystical sense.

But for most Christians, the two, God and the Bible are inseperable. They claim that the bible is the word of god and therefore god exists. But since the bible and the concept of a god of somekind are both inventions by humans, they both are false.

Shouldn't you attack the bible and not the concept of god? Because there is a much better chance that god is real than there is that the bible has any actual truth to it.

People attack the use of the Bible as a proof for God's existence, specifically the Judeo-Christian God.

When they attack the Bible they are attacking the Christian god. They are attacking the concept of god as you put it, they are just being more specific in the case of the Bible.

Try this, count how many answers are from Atheists or Agnostics, and how many are answered by so called Christians.
Your question is aimed at the Atheists, so Atheists should reply.
BUT the Holy than thou brigade cannot resist themselves.
Atheism is the belief that God does not exist.
IF God did exist, then why has he let so many EVIL, self righteous, contemptuous, megalomaniac dimwits, spread HIS word, unless the word is false!
And if the word is false, then so is the Bible.

It's one of the symbols of God existence in the christian religion. I think that is why they attack the bible.

Although you may not believe every word of the bible, there are religious people that swear the bible is the ultimate truth, divine word sent from God.
