Some people can't think of anybody except themselves. They think it's all about them.
Anyone who says there is no evidence of God is just plain closed-minded. You could show them in black and white and they still wouldn't believe. They'll figure it out someday but it will probably be too late.
Also, it was Jesus that came to this world.

Because there is absolutely no evidence for his/her existence and no necessity to believe in. A belief in God is like a childs belief in the tooth fairy or Santa Claus, sweet and naive but if taken too far for too long weakening and even harmful.
A more important question what role does god play in your life and if it is harmful. At one point or the other, faith involves abandoning reason and putting your trust in ambibuous passages of texts from an old, rougher and prejudiced era. You learn to live a life goverened by guilt and caution over your very thoughts, where your conscience and reason is in a subliminal battle for whatever lessons you are being doctored in. You get to depend on that unseen friend for help and guidance and kill the spirit of nobility and strength residing in us all.
And in the wrong company in the wrong situation, you belive you've got your seat booked for the afterlife and are blindly willing
to do whatever it takes to get there. Please don't be smug that it's a matter of which religion - they all do the same acts at different times.
I know you got good intentions at heart and your compassion is geniuine, but as the saying goes "The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions". And by hell I mean a state of mind that inhbits a glorious life of uninhibited goals and mature spirits. This is a huge and important topic which a few paragraphs could never do justice to. If you're still intrested - and I hope you are - do try and read Richard Dawkins The God Delusion and let your conscience and intelligence be your guide.

Because God is nothing more than a figment of all those who believe's imagination. God is the ultimate marketing scheme for money making at it's finest point. You take a bunch of people not secure in their lives and give them some amazing figure who can do all and 'saved' us.
If God were truly real, then why would we have tsunamis, murders, rapes, poverty, starvation and anything else that destroys human life or dignity?
If God were truly real and loved me like all the bible thumpers say he does, then why would he not be there to explain all the **** *** things that have gone on in my life. If God is 'there' for me, then where the hell has he been when I've been almost out on the street or hurt so bad by someone all I want to do is roll over and give up.
God and the belief in the Bible, Jesus, divine intervention and all of is is crap and more crap. You're responsible for what happens to you and there is no higher power whatsoever.

First, why assume that the responses you receive will not be mature? This implies that your perception of nonbelievers is very negative. It's hard to approach you feeling like you have a bias against nonbelievers.
I think you may be taking other people's beliefs to heart too much. If Christ is your savior, live that life. What I believe or what others believe has no impact on your belief.
We all arrive to our beliefs the same way: upbringing, individual thought, and education. And wonderfully, we are all different. Learning to appreciate those differences rather than weeping about it is a much healthier approach.
Anyway, I don't know if I believe or not, but I am inclined not to. There is nothing in my life that tells me there is a god. I have found other answers to the questions of life provided by humanity and science.

Some people don't believe in God because they were raised into thinking that he was not real. But if you look at some religions they do believe in a god, just not the correct one. Also a lot of people are in a part of the world where no one can bring them to knowing about God so they cannot help not knowing or believing.
Don't cry about them not knowing, pray for them that they will go to heaven with us

I exactly see your point and is why I remain on reasonable ground to reject any notion of a deity, because it’s ultimately not about evidence but about faith. Surely of course there will be those people who wish to expand the definition of evidence to include faith; however, in doing this we destroy the meaning of the word because now we are attaching wishful thinking and blind trust into its core meaning.
- You still do not answer why I cannot say that the cosmos is uncreated.
- You make unjustified claims in your premise about a deity being supernatural and then conclude with saying that it is ultimately a matter of faith.
- You almost assert by fiat that things in the universe could not have risen any other way besides a creator.
Are we supposed to be convinced simply by diving into faith as you have? I cannot do this to myself as I am not a person who puts belief on a pedestal. No one here (except maybe you people) is claiming to know why the universe came into being. In fact, it is not entirely clear that we can coherently speak about the “beginning” or “creation” of the universe at all, as these ideas invoke the concept of time

There is no evidence that there is a god. No evidence essentially means that someone made it up. It is not reasonable to believe in things without any evidence. You would be stuck with every ridiculous thing that human imagination could come up with.
Not believing in god is the same as not believing in Zeus, Odin, Santa, Anubis, the Tooth Faerie, and all the thousands of others since the evidence is exactly the same. I would be no less surprised if someone found evidence of Bacchus than I would be if they found evidence of your god.

No evidence.
The paradoxes the come from a all powerful god. Like if God is all powerful he knows everything you will ever do before he creates you. So NO such thing as Free will.
The fact there are so many religions. If only one was true the others would NOT make any sense to people.
All the mythology in religion. Talking snakes etc.
A lot of reason......

Hello Princess -
Don't cry for us - you should spend your time making sure you are not wasting your time believing in something as true simply because someone says it's true. You obviously have faith in a religion that says god exists. Another word for faith is hope. You HOPE there is a god. You do not have one shred of evidence a god exists. Just because you believe it to be true doesn't make it true.
Believer to non-believer: "You remind me of a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat."
Non-believer to believer: "You remind me of a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat that isn't there."
P.S. God did not die for your sins. According to the bible, Jesus died for your sins. I think Jesus died because a bunch of guys grabbed him and nailed him to a tree.

Some people just don't want to be saved and would rather burn then to listen. They are like children, they think they know everything because of science but in reality they have barley touch the surface. I am not saying that science is bad but it is not the answer to everything, people rely on it too much. Plus most people that claim science has disproved god don't know much about science to begin with.
