The U.S. does buy foreign parts for their equipment. The U.S. is even buying ammo from Israel.
As far as buying something like planes, only if Japan offered a superior product and so far they don't even come close.

Sure. This is the kind of logic that doesn't make sense.
It's like all the auto workers unions trying to make people feel responsible for costing "good hard working American" jobs because they didn't buy domestic.
Don't buy a higher quality automobile from a foreign country! Competition is unfair! You should make your purchase based upon trying to avoid guilt of course.

we are allies with japan, we train with japans troops, so yea there is no problem nuying plans from them
