Has he signed an Advance Medical Directive giving you the power to make medical decisions for him? If so, then if you have sound medical reasons (doctor's advice) for doing what you are doing, then you can try to communicate that to his family, or can ignore them.

Does he have his affairs in order otherwise? Better to think about this now, despite the stress you may be under, than when it is too late. Does he need a guardian?

A good attorney may be a great investment, and (s)he could advise you what to do about the family's attitude, too.

This is why people need a will. If you and your husband have talked about it and you know what he wants, then do it. The decisions are yours to make if your husband cannot, not the rest of his family. I'm sorry to hear about him.

firstly I'm sorry for your problem. But you need to get all those involved together and confront the family about them thinking your killing him. Then just tell them Hey its his life and I'm his wife and what he wants is what I'm going to do for him because his time is limited and I what his numbered day to be as he wishes and if they don't like it tell them to GET LOST.
